Thick fog patches distorting the colors, windows are closed, the door is behind the curtain. The faces are half secret, shoes are all black and dirty, the sound is surreal. It’s all an “Illusion“, a story told in the night, without breaks and memories. A constructed universe, an experience of life. Miyagi created a two tracker full off emotions and inspiring sounds. Drifting, kicking, technoid and right on time for your club trip. “Butterfly“ feat. M.Tuschy is a simple tribute to bass and kick. It starts hard and groovy, you will have no time to breath. Till the break the sound is tight, then it gets open and light. For Miyagi’s first EP on Einmusika we have proper remixes by Soul Button and Arjuna Schiks on board. Expect a versatile and powerful package, out end of October.

Miyagi - Illusion

Just before the arrival of summer this year, Christian Löffler is set to release his next musical statement and autobiographical journey named “Young Alaska” on Ki Records. The German producer unveils his unique soundscapes by delivering seven tracks which are deeply rooted, once again, in harmony and emotion. Löffler's unique sound based on an intense melancholic feel brought him a busy touring schedule performing at clubs and festivals all over the world. He sticks to his calm approach to electronic music and proves, through his live-sets, that emotions control the dance floor, creating a real sense of euphoria. His experiences on the road are reflected on “Young Alaska,” which is largely inspired by these journeys and places he has visited. From the peaceful landscapes of the title track to the melodramatic heights of “Mt. Grace,” he took “Notes” back home to transfer the impressions into his music. Songs like “Beirut“, “Veiled Grey” and “Alpine Sketch” are very diverse but come together harmoniously on this release. As on his debut album, he once again collaborates with Danish vocalist Gry and Me Succeeds lead-singer Mohna on “All Comes” and “Beirut.” During the course of “Young Alaska”, Christian tells the story of his journey over the course of the past two years.

Joining forces from adjacent areas musically as well as geographically, Township Rebellion and Marc Holstege each contribute two resounding original cuts. The German producer collective initiates side A with Aphrodite, a spacious and majestic construction that pieces together uplifting synth arrays with a brooding bassline and an overall elevating groove. A slice of near-symphonic dub tech that elates and captivates at the same time. Gaia comes in progressively, kicking in with a stripped down bassline only to escalate into a full on body mover, powered by grave synths and pensive leads. Boomy percussion lays the base for industrial pads to amp up the highs, reinforcing the somber atmosphere. Holstege’s premier offering, ‘Mangata’ unfolds sequentially, as the producer pairs a deep, melodic intro ridden with celestial chords to a sunken kick drum and metallic percussion. Strings and harmony make up the main pillars of ‘Sonorous’, used to craft a melancholic and mesmeric deeep tech exploration. Warped synths announce a tense buildup, ultimately reverting to the overtone of the initial string motif.
