March's Third Quarter Moon: Troja

VOS 024
Dauw: condensation of atmospheric moisture in the morning or evening. 
Schemering: the reflection of soft glowing light when the sun is below the horizon. 

These names (being Stijn van Doorslaer and Bert Verstappen) complement as much as the duos exquisite and complementary taste for emotive house music. As real moodmakers they're always very passionate and determined to take the listener on a rhythmic journey covering a broad spectrum of musical styles. 

The year 2016 gave them a quick jump to international gigs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Stockholm, Tulum and South Africa. Just recently they were asked to join the internationally growing Project Heart family!  For this downtempo podcast they found inspiration in the melancholy of winter time.

Friends, 
We have entered a year which I believe will be quite special. I believe in symbols and numbers are the most powerful symbols. 2 and 0 together will bring transformations. Those might not be special in the way we expect, but it will be special in the way that serves the collective most. Nevertheless, we will survive this new era. Because we have something quite similar, under our skins, don't we?

I hope you enjoy this new mix full of melodic, dreamy and emotional sounds. Tracks are all released, some are all well-known, some are a bit forgotten. I will share the track list very soon. Thanks for being a part of my journey! <3

"Under Her Skin" Mix, February 2020

„Ein gutes Dutzend Doppelwhopper mit extra Klimbims“, tönen die Stimmen hungrig im Diggy-Land. „Zum Hierhören oder Einpacken?“ schallt es hinüber und keiner lässt da gerne auf sich warten. In Windeseile stehen sie da, höchst gespannt, denn Forgetti Regretti (https://soundcloud.com/forgetti_regretti) lässt uns und die staunende Brigade mit treibenden, melodischen und teils verspielten Melodien gen Herbst schlawenzeln. Gespickt mit allerlei Gesang und echtem Inhalt bekommt man das Gefühl, genau hier irgendwie an irgendwas erinnert zu werden. Im Jargon rundet sie jetzt schon ab, was im frühen Winter gehört werden wird und wird zur Wegleiterin in eine überzeugende Richtung. Welch ein wunderbarer Grund zum Anstoßen. Wir heben unseren Fako auf Eis und jubeln Julia frenetisch zu. Wer von euch ist auch schon gespannt, welch Schmuckstück sie als Schatzsucherin demnächst ausgraben wird und zur Winterszeit aus‘m Hut zaubert? 

Viel Spaß euch da draußen, lasst den Alltag mal Alltag sein, verwirrend ist hier ausnahmsweise mal gar nichts. Liebe Menschen, genießt mit uns Forgetti Regrettis „Epochales Herbstgescherbel“…
