Canopy Sounds is under the blue sky this week with Bross.

Our Romanian friend has established himself as one of quickly rising names in the deep, melodic/progressive scene. Aiming at developing and fostering community around groovy and melancholic vibes he founded Deep House Bucharest, a home for quality deep house music. Bross keeps the dancefloor satisfied with his commitment to the groove, which has led to major appearances alongside Lost Desert, Lee Burridge and Mihai Popoviciu. His studio sound ranges from delicate and dreamy, to more groovy, afrobeat and whimsical house sounds. His most recent project "Miragviglia EP" will be releasing on Magician On Duty in September. It has been a while. We have been travelling inwards. We spent the time trying to explore how to welcome all the change that has been taking place inside and outside ourselves. It seems this year will shake us all to the core..

To reignite our amazing SoundCloud we start with Gimérique. After an incredible first podcast we can't wait to hear your thoughts on this new masterpiece.

Belgium’s Bigasti and Switzerland’s Floloco work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with a narrative mix of both, deep and thriving elements. After years of experience in electronic music as individual artists, Gimérique unites the signature sound of two artists to a new chapter on their promising path in the electronic music scene.

It all started with a joint DJ set released on Schirmchendrink, which the two founded together. After several joint DJ sessions they felt it was about time to take the project to the next level.

With their first collaborative production in 2020, Gimérique took Lerr's 'Hummingbird' into deep and dreamy territory. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it made an auspicious production debut for Gimerique on Sound Avenue's first edition of their 'Re:Imagined‘ remix series. Gimérique's first original production is being released in Spring 2020 and explores a more ambient landscape of their sound.

Floloco and Bigasti individually are passionate about electronic music ever since they can remember. Together, they are Gimérique.

Today, another familiar face in our family joins our beautiful Good Morning Guest Mix Series, and we’re heading to a familiar spot for our next story. The Greek Capital, Athens, has been visited twice already in our Guest Mix journey around the world, and each time the beautiful sounds have resonated with the city’s scenery perfectly.

This December, in collaboration with @georgexofficial, @plecta86 joins an array of talented artists for the Winter instalment of Volume 1 of our Seasons VA Series, and in preparation, he tells us his tale from one of the most culturally rich locations on the planet.  

Let him take you for a relaxing walk through the Greek capital, whilst having one eye on the Acropolis Hill and the Parthenon… Good Morning from Athens
