1. Wie kommt dein Künstlername zustande ?
Das ist eigentlich eine relativ lange Geschichte ohne tiefen Hintergrund, aber recht kurz gefasst:
Ich habe mich hingesetzt und mir gesagt,  dass ich einen neuen Künstlernamen brauche und dieser ist mir dann einfach innerhalb von Sekunden eingefallen und ging mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. 
Zusätzlich mag ich Dreiecke wahnsinnig gern

2. Seit wann legst du auf ?
Ich glaube mein erstes equipment habe ich mir 2008 gekauft und habe nur für mich zu Hause experimentiert. meinen ersten „richtigen“ Gig hatte ich dann 2014.

3. Lieblingsclub ?
Ich würde behaupten, dass es eine der schwierigsten fragen ist… ich denke dass es nicht unbedingt auf den laden ankommt, sondern auf dein Publikum und die anlage auf der du spielst… es gibt so viele crews, die jeden laden Deko-mäßig verzaubern können. Von daher möchte ich mich einfach nicht festlegen.

4. Lieblingszeit bei Auflegen ?
Es natürlich auch sehr entscheidend auf welcher Party und in welcher Location ich spiele. Es macht ja durch aus einen Unterschied ob ich in der Samstag Nacht um 3 im Club spiele oder am Sonntag morgen 10 Uhr auf einem festival. Beide Zeiten können richtig gut sein. 
Also ich spiele gern openings, maintimes und closings. 

5. Lieblingsfarbe ?
Pink

6. Lieblingsessen ?
Aktuell bleibe ich sehr auf meinem selbst zusammengestellten Falafelteller hängen…
könnt ich jeden Tag essen.

7. Lieblingsplaneten ?
Da ich leider noch keine Zeit hatte einen anderen zu besuchen und kennen zu lernen, ist es aktuell (noch) die Erde.


8. Bestes Erlebnis beim Auflagen ?
Ich habe mal das warmup vom Be Svendsen Konzert in Hamburg gespielt. Das war eine Stunde Playtime und in dieser Zeit habe 2-3 Zwischenapplaus mit lautesten jubeln bekommen und hinterher gab es auch einen Applaus, wie ich ihn noch nicht erlebt habe. Das hat mir ein Grinsen beschwert, das ich so schnell nicht losgeworden bin.


9. Schlechtestes Erlebnis beim Auflegen ?
Als mir auf einer Party für einen livestream die playtime weggenommen werden wollte.
Ich stand auf dem lineup, der booker war nicht im Haus und jemand meinte er spiele jetzt, nachdem ich bereits den ersten Track gespielt habe. Immer mehr Leute haben auf mich eingeredet, und gemeint, dass ihr Kumpel nun spielt. Diese Diskussion hat mich doch sehr aus dem Konzept gebracht. Es ließ sich aber letztendlich klären.

Die entschleunigte Rakete (Reinterpretation)

Piff Paff Puff...

Ein grosses Fest ward im Königreich der Etekarer angekündigt. Gross und Klein, Alt und Jung, Dick und Dünn, Arm und Reich... Alle waren ganz gespannt. Alle zogen ihre feinsten Kleider an, putzten ihre Schuhe, wenn sie welche hatten, und wuschen auch die Strasse. Zu diesem ganz besonderen festlichen Anlass, nahm auch jeder ein Bad. Alle Bewohner durften zu diesem Ereignis in das Schloss des Herrschers Tiehnös. Er war ein eitler König und liebte die Überraschung. Bis an diesen berühmten und berüchtigten Tag erhielt keiner der Etekarer einen Einblick welch sagenumwobenen Ereignisse und Geschehnisse wohl werden passieren. Aus diesem Grund wurde Nilreb vom Ehrgeiz gepackt. In seinen Augen war er der schönste, klügste und bestaussehendste Jüngling im ganzen Königreich. Er musste auffallen an dem grossen Fest... er wollte ein Teil der königlichen Familie werden. Es war ihm wichtig, die Prinzessin, die Tochter von Tiehnös, zu imponieren. Leider hatte er nicht genug, um sich teure Kleider zu kaufen. Nilreb war ein Landstreicher. Also machte er sich in den Nächten vor der grossen Feier los und versuchte sich seine Kleidung zu ergaunern und zu klauen. Die Hose, die er geklaut hatte, war ihm zu gross. Das Oberteil war ihm zu klein. Das kümmerte ihn aber nicht, da er davon erzeugt war, dass er mit dieser Aufmachung der Prinzessin sicher ins Auge stechen würde. Am Tag des Festes, lange bevor die Fanfare begann und den besonderen Tag der Etekarer einläutete, machte sich Nilreb auf den Weg. Er wollte der Erste sein, so dass ihn die ganze Königsfamilie bemerkte. Er zog sich seine unpassenden Kleider an, wusch sich und kämmte sich. Und rannte los... 
Es war ein lauwarmer Frühlingsmorgen. Es war noch feucht auf den Wegen. Vor lauter Eile und weil er seine unpassenden Kleider teils festheben musste, rutsche Nilreb aus und landete direkt in einer Schlammpfütze. Seine Kleider waren nun durchnässt, seine Haare zerzaust und er war von oben bis unten dreckverschmiert. Ob er so der Tochter des mächtigen Tiehnös gefallen würde? Hat sich das Ergaunern der Kleider gelohnt?
Man wird sehen...

The 'Indrani—Ariana' Mix (Feb 2020)

☼☼☼ Welcome to episode 1.2 ☼☼☼

In today’s episode, I felt like building a journey that travels across the Wadi’s (Valley’s) and the Sahari (Sahara) of the Middle East and beyond. After a recent visit to العلا Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia, a much needed reconnection to our beautiful land and its rich heritage, culture, and history. A journey of discovery which certainly has left us in awe. For that reason, the trip inspired me to bring in more Arabic & Middle Eastern flavors in this episode. 

  With a hypnotic عُود (Oud) intro, to melodies by the majestically sounding قانون‎ (Kanun) tracing its origins to Ancient Greece, to the groovy and shaking sounds of the energetic دربوكة‎ 
 (Darabukka) percussions, a drum piece used in Mesopotamian and Ancient Egyptian cultures. Arabic lyrics and موال‎  Mawwal (A traditional chant/song in Arabic genre of vocal music that is very slow in beat and sentimental in nature).   But of course, let’s not forgot the more electronic side of things, no narrative needed (:

That morning, the little witch woke up from the pleasant sound of the singing birds in her forest.  With her eyes half-open and still feeling drowsy from a good night’s sleep, her heart suddenly skipped a beat from excitement when she realized the next night there would be a full moon, which meant she’ll participate in the monthly witch coven (which always happens in a different location and in the ever-changing company of two other witches).  
After finishing her morning rituals and her daily inspection round of the forest, the girl said goodbye to the animals, and flew into the unknown.  She knew she would – as always - reach her destination by simply following her inner compass.  To her great surprise, she was unable to make any speed and she was just gently floating Northwards along with the clouds, which meant this witch coven would take place in a nearby area.  She flew over green lowlands with several big rivers and on her left side she had an excellent view of the North Sea.  After a while, she spotted a crowd of yellow daffodils, thousands dancing in the breeze, along a lake beneath the trees.
She landed gracefully next to the yellow flowers and noticed that there actually was a line of daffodils leading deeper into the forest.  She followed the winding treasure trail until she arrived in a small clearing with a dry moss carpet, where the 2 other witches were already waiting for her, one silver-haired elder witch of over 500 years of age and one black-haired teenage girl from the Middle-East who she had already met at the foot of Mount Hermon a few months earlier (in Witchtape #59).  After the customary group hug, the three women got dressed for the occasion (the dress code was purple) and started with a long series of mystic ceremonies, before shucking off their purple dresses and performing an hours-long ecstatic dance until the camp fire petered out.  It was already well past midnight and the 3 naked witches huddled closely together in the cold wind (which had turned to the North-West while reaching gale force).  On top of that, melting snow started to fall and the temperature dropped to zero degrees.  The teenage witch started to shiver from the cold (she’s used to a way warmer climate) so the two European witches decided to heat her up.  She laid down on the dry moss carpet, while the little witch warmed up her hands and the senior witch did the same with her feet, before warming up the other parts of her body.  Witches can produce prodigious amounts of heat with their hands and soon the body of the Arabic witch started to glow from top to toe.  The witches took turns and repeated the same treatment, until all 3 were emitting so much heat that the melting snow first turned to rain, and finally the rain drops just evaporated before they could hit the ground.  Together with the witches, the whole forest seemed to have become energized and at daybreak spring was clearly in the air, with all the birds - after their morning song - frenetically started building nests, getting ready for yet another epic year in the forest…

While getting to know this fine man and many stories about long travels over the seven seas, he introduces us to a treasure carefully collected and selected.
