Thie week we have Scots born DJ & producer Andrew Moore, who is now based in Berlin. Andrew started off his music career as a camera man and editor for Glasgow based electronic music magazine eqtv.dj, where he filmed and interviewed the best DJs and club nights in Glasgow, as well as various artist from around the world. He then started his DJ career after moving to London and working in the city’s queer underground scene. Since moving to Berlin, Andrew’s career has gone from strength to strength after making waves across Eastern Europe and signing to and releasing on Ellen Allien’s infamous BPitch record label. Scots born DJ/producer Andrew Moore started off his music career as a camera man and editor for Glasgow based online electronic music magazine eqtv.dj where he filmed and interviewed the best DJs and club nights in Glasgow and around the world. He then started his DJ career after moving to London and working in the city’s queer underground scene. Since moving to Berlin, Andrew’s career has gone from strength to strength after making waves across Eastern Europe and signing to and releasing on Ellen Allien’s infamous BPitch record label and becoming the resident to the infamous We Are Not Alone parties!

Byron Alvarado is a DJ, Producer, Instructor of the DJ academy DJLab, Promoter of the TMPL project and one of the representatives of the powerful Industrial and Hypnotic Techno sound in Costa Rica.

He has shared the stage with international artists such as RIKHTER, Métaraph, Vendex, Common Poetry and Die Arkitekt.

In 2019 he completes the music production program DJLab and Brooklyn Digital Conservatory (NYC), with the support of Ableton, Arturia, iZotope and Native Instruments.

Co-creator of the TMPL project with Jimena Rueda, Melina Blanco and Partícula de Dios, he has managed to consolidate not only a series of party concepts gravitating around Techno and Hard Style, but also an important portfolio of local, regional and international bookings with artists such as Rikhter, Métaraph, Paula Velez, Vendex and Fiedel. 
In his career, Byron Alvarado has released on renowned labels such as: NECHTO, PURE HATE 000, Laboratorium Records, VAGUE, WINKED, Denso Records, Set of the Day, COOLKIDZ, among others.

In 2021, Byron Alvarado participated in episode #10 of Scary Beautiful, a project developed and supported by the renowned Ukrainian DJ Nastia, with his track Cordon de Plata, a track that is part of the LP series of the NECHTO label NECH016.

He had the opportunity to make an official remix for the track ''Julian'' by Greek producer Die Arkitekt with the vocals of the legendary Lena Platonos.

His tracks have been supported by artists such as Richie Hawtin, Nastia, Ayako Mori, Daria Kolosova, Metaraph, Imogen, among others.

He has been featured on radio shows in Spain such as Who Electronic Radio and has also been invited to international podcasts by the following labels: Tech Clubbers, DECIBELS, WINKED, Set of the Day, 6eme Sens, Under Oath, among others.

In 2022, he debuts as an instructor of DJLab's Professional DJ Course, a role he has managed to consolidate thanks to his great charisma and dedication when it comes to accompanying the new talents that come through DJLab.

Scots-born Andrew first became professionally involved with dance music off the back of a filmmaking degree and subsequent role as cameraman and editor for Glasgow-based online electronic magazine @eqtv. Whilst there, he filmed and interviewed the likes of DJs @ben-klock, @paragraph, @octaveone, @john-digweed and others at Glasgow’s club institutions @subclub87 and @thearches.

It was only going to be a matter of time before he progressed into DJ-ing, which he did after moving to London in 2012 and has since built up an impressive club portfolio that included residences at East Bloc’s BLOCHEADS, Gymbox Bank and Victoria and his own night Symposium, opening for Berghain's resident DJ Boris at the UK's launch of Australian Techno Party Trough as well as Egg London, Shoreditch House, Tobacco Docks, The Coronet Theatre, The Ivy, Dalston Superstore, Waterloo Vaults, Home House, Century Club, Bloc South, Shelter, ‘This Is Electric’ Radio, Cheap Monday store launch, Frost Festival, Macho Afterhours, Rumour Has It (Brighton) and Oceanbeat (Ibiza).

After venturing into producing and moving to Berlin in 2018 Andrew's career has gone from strength to strength with gigs at renowned clubs like @berghain, @griessmuehle, @ipse-berlin, @ritter-butzke, @wilderenate, Poland's @transformator-tfr and back to London for @jadedofficial at @corsica_studios as well as becoming resident at @ellen-allien's party 'We Are Not Alone'.
