Belgian electronic pioneer, Pole Folder needs little introduction. A former protégée of the UK legend and Bedrock boss, John Digweed, Pole Folder broke onto the scene in 2001 and has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and live performer showcasing an exciting and unique brand of melodic house and techno. Signed to Global Underground, Renaissance and the aforementioned bedrock, Pole Folder exudes a timeless class in everything he makes.
Munich-based Aethon is the Deep-House/Ethereal-Techno alias of DJ/Producer and Modular Synth enthusiast Christian Schnall. Socialised and influenced by the alternative music of the ‘90s, he combines the melancholic teen spirit with the electronic sound of today.

The single features the vocals from highly sought-after vocalist Jinadu. With collaborations to date with Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Eli Brown, Jamie Jones ad Dixon. He is also known as one half of The Beauty Room, a luscious, 70’s Americana inspired project that employed the skills of Grammy award winning engineer Peter Henderson (Supertramp) and string arranger Paul Buckmaster (David Bowie, Elton John) to great effect.
In original form, deep kicks and a rubbery low end form the bedrock on which sparse percussion and bright and airy synths work their magic. Jinadu’s ethereal vocals add to the air of mysticism which becomes a maelstrom of melancholy energy. A real meeting of minds with far-reaching creative potential. On remix duties, Fur Coat goes deep and musical creating a deeply hypnotic version, while Armonica slows the tempo and toughens the low-end grit with a haunting Reese bass. The release also features an ambient reimagination and shortened radio cut.

As the world slowly begins to reopen its doors after months of restrictions and lockdowns at the start of 2022, a familiar duo makes their Perspectives Digital debut under the No Distance pseudonym.  Peter Makto & Gregory S are no strangers to the underground dance scene.  Fully immersed in electronic music from an early age and lifelong friends, the Hungarian pair have been regulars across the clubs of their homeland, not least under the auspices of their Truesounds agency and subsequent label of the same name.

The pair have been responsible for a double century of production credits with their music finding its way onto the likes of Proton Music, Dear Deer, and Hoomidaas, over a decade-long career that saw a debut remixing Eelke Kleijn for Manual Music in 2011.  Entering a new chapter under the No Distance moniker, the duo has been able to combine Gregory's melodic flair and Peter's penchant for deep house grooves.

Now making an immediate impact on Darin Epsilon's label, "Diamonds" finds them creating a magical sonic tapestry that glitters with a mesmerizing arpeggio that flows effortlessly across the 7 minute piece.  Textured pads sit underneath as the track is propelled by a driving beat and rolling hi-hat top line.  The result is the creation of a dynamic and sparkling opener full of poise and grace.

With its slightly darker and more melancholic air, "Eclipse" once again sees No Distance making their mark with a driving, club-friendly offering.  Underneath a chest-thumping kick and whip-cracking snare, a bassline sequence holds firm while a detuned synth pierces the midrange with an earworm motif.  An immaculately placed vocal line gives the track additional intrigue making its presence felt at the midpoint breakdown alongside white noise swells and a repeated synth line, before the second half strides out again with potent rhythmic force.

Opening with their instrumental cut ‘Wind’, German production outfit Diode Eins make their label debut. Floating across a laidback arrangement, the producers combine undulating synths, shuffling percussion and bold instrumentals to enter a mystical realm. Namatjira teams up with Jelle van Leeuwen for a delicate and blissful offering ‘Reminiscent’, where the producers devise a stunning instrumental arrangement with a timeless feel. 

Frankfurt-based artist Paraframe closeses out the compilation with ‘Euphoria’. Building a hypnotic soundscape with staccato notes and raw bass, the track turns with a mesmerising drop that will keep listeners hooked across its duration.'

The mysterious duo are regulars on Steyoyoke, Proton and Somatic bringing a fresh approach to progressive house. 
Known for their open-minded music policy, Labyrinth Music has chosen club residents, Joyhauser and Kevin de Vries to remix on this EP, which marks the re-launch of the label since 2017, after taking a 3-year hiatus.
