This track was a collaboration between Lace Reihana and Kayla Turei. Featuring Martin Yousef, (drums) Noema Te Hau (bass) . Recorded at MAINZ Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand. 

A Lost Place

Wrote most of this tune mid-July 2011 using words and phrases new zealand was immersed in during the Pike River tragedy. Shona helped me finish it and sings lead vocal. Thanks to Josh Sorenson on first take drums, mandolin from Harry Lyon, slide guitar from longtime buddy now living in Sydney (but kidnapped to the studio) Melanie Forbes, studio knobs thanks to Daryl Tapsell, mixed with Neil Young in mind and an ebow in hand Rikki Morris, mastered by Angus MacNaughton. Really wanted to get some 'music' in there, I think we all did that. Big love out to everyone. Thoughts and prayers will always be with the families.
