When I was young growing up in a church all I ever new was God and Music. Back in Elelmentary School we had this Christmas production. There was a Particular scene in the play where we marched in as if were apart of the Lord's Army. The lyrcis were written and quoted upon a reflection of the word. It was a story being told to the audience as well as those involved in the play. I remember wanting to be the one to perform the rap rather being involved in any of the other scenes throughout the play. Later growing up I found myself falling in love with the drumeline. Not only for beats but because ive been inspired since a child to play the drums. I remember riding around in Los Angeles and my pops asked me wanted I wanted to be I said a rapper. As i grew older I realized I wanted to spread a message similar to the one I did back in Elementary. Ever since I can remember ive worked with different Artist, Engineers, Producers and the Elevation of everything they do has inspired us to push each other to our full potential. You may be wondering how we started out recording with no studio no microphone. For myself it all began once I found that roc band mic in the bottom drawer of my brothers dresser. Over the years Ive wrote over about 200 plus songs. Ive lost ipods left note pads in places. At first I thought it was all over till God showed me through time comes Elevation.Through elevation your mindset changes, therefore I shall drop everything old before your ready for the new after all my life is a TESTIMONY! Although I write music I know that being a father to my child comes before my dreams. I have lost jobs as well as been blessed to be apart of something as special as fighting child hood obesity relentlessly. Spending time with my family friends are important to me but what would my Life be like if I just around and not grow into the proper influence that my father wants me to be. All I ask is that you listen to my story hear where I was before you judge me upon where i am today, I AM NOT WHERE I ONCE WAS!! I love all of you those even to whom i have never met. We will meet someday. All I want to do is tell you that DREAMS DO COME TRUE THROUGH HARD WORK DEDICATION AND MIND ELEVATION. Lacyona (Lace “The Hands”) Muldrow was born August 11, 1992, in Florence, SC. At two years old, Lace began playing on her grandmothers pots and pans and later moved to a full drum set at the age of five. She later began playing snare drum for her elementary school drumline during her 6th grade year and continued to play through middle, high and now college. She is currently a senior music industry major at South Carolina State University.

Being a music major has enhanced Lace’s knowledge and skills in music which has granted Lace several opportunities within the industry over the years. Aside from being a percussionist Lace also sings, plays piano and more. She later developed the talent to write, compose, and create her own music production. Lace has not only mastered the technique to compose her music with computer technology but she is one of few females in her area to play all real instruments to her songs. She also writes her own material, sings her own lead and background vocals and much more which are all composed in her own personal sudio. She released her first R&B mixtape "Night vs. Day" in 2010 on iTunes and her second “Deep Thought” in 2011. Making her musical app “LaceMarie” available for listening in android and apple markets and her music available for purchasing through iTunes, Lace began to gain more support from different audiences.

During the summer of 2014 Lace had he opportunity to play as the double for the lead actress Alexandra Shipp for the VH-1 motion picture movie “Drumline: A New Beat”. Lace also played as an extra throughout the movie. In January 2015, Lace and her colleague Joshua Frierson created a student ran live band “We The People. Performing on the campus of South Carolina State University the band began to gain more fans and more performances, which then lead to one of the biggest events at the university. On March 22nd, 2015 the band performed on stage with actor/singer Tony Grant at the annual gala event at SC State. On July 3rd We The People was asked by Tony Grant and manager Mike Lee to perform with Tony again for his album release party.

Continuing with her musical endeavors, Lace has empowered several young girls, boys, men and women by the attention provided by her work ethic and passion. With Shelia E, Dawn Richard, Beyonce, Janelle Monae and many more as her inspirations Lace gains her drive from each artist day by day and is striving to make a big impact worldwide to young ladies, musicians, singers/songwriters and composers.
