SPREZZATURA RECORDS 2022 cover version of Donovan's Hampstead Incident first released in 1966.  Roxanne Fontana produced and recorded in London at Gizzard Recording.  The analogue 16 track 2 inch tape, mixed to tape and mastered digitally, utilizing vintage microphones, real string section, and British musicians young and old, brings the classsic song that rang through the rainy streets of London, on the dawn of it's swinging era, up to date sonically and emotionally in a voice somewhat cynical and world weary, more appropriate to 2022 than 1966.  The final song on the Roxanne Fontana new album Phantasmagorgy released mid-April 2022, it is the final comment on the quasi-concept album of poetic folk and psychedelia.

Love For Sale

This 2018 cover version of Leon Russell and Bonnie Bramlett's song "Groupie (Superstar)" has been recorded by NY singer songwriter musician Roxanne Fontana. The song was a massive hit by The Carpenters and covered by many artists.
Fontana chose to record the song and dedicate it to Tom Petty on the first year anniversary of his death.
The ghostly vocals and production are a familiar sound for Fontana (see 'Deep Sea,' 'La Mer,' 'Passing Bye'). Recorded in London September 2018, with musician friends in London.
