The good is - after a prolonged ‘COVID times’ induced hibernation period - we’re back! And to welcome us back Kibosh has kindly emptied his robot studio of all the odds and ends that he's been keeping 'somewhere safe’, to serve up this rip thumping summer funk-stroller ‘Struck’ - which is yours for free! Oh no, you're very welcome!

The bad news is you're going to have to actually get dressed*, put on your pants, roll up your sleeves and join us on the dancefloor! It's ok, it's in our back garden, don't worry about the wasps, we've got them drunk on ginger tears. Earlier this spring Omegaman caused quite a stir releasing two back to back super fire singles, Bring Back The Funk and Gonna Be Alright, and then followed that up dropping a pair of booty shaking remix singles! To top it off, we have saved two heaters from Mr. Doris and Lakeshore Drive to wrap up the series!

Mr. Doris of Ibiza is up first and has stripped the track down to its funky core. Get ready for tambourines, steady clapping and some holy organs propelling the track. Mr. Doris brings his Balearic experience to the table here as disco elements blend with moments of deep tribal beats, gospel and funk. The remix feels almost like you are at an after hours party in Ibiza hanging with old friends and feeling it as the sun starts to rise!

The creative scene of British Columbia in Canada has given us so many great musicians, DJs, producers and vocalists and now to that list we add Lakeshore Drive. It’s been a long long time coming, but thankfully his hoarded samples have been discharged - and laced with his own super slick original instrumentation - to crank out this delectable EP. ‘Do You Like It’ is a natural progression from where he left us with 2016’s ‘Rock the Party’ - chock-full of funky cuts, nostalgic throwbacks, eargasmic production and lube.

While good ol’ Mr S’s first release was s̶e̶m̶e̶n̶a̶l̶ seminal in the funky breaks scene, he’s spent the past two years honing his skills, style, and bone to produce these five tracks so undeniably funky that dance floors around the globe are about to blow their load.
