Acclaimed author Neil Gaiman performs a memorable dramatic reading from NYPL’s own rare copy of "A Christmas Carol," which includes edits and prompts Charles Dickens wrote in his own hand for his unique public readings 150 years ago. Dressed in full costume and joined by writer and BBC researcher Molly Oldfield, Gaiman performs the classic tale as its great author intended.

Hokah Fun Daze is returning! That’s right! Hokah Fun Daze, the Revival is kicking off with a Parade 6 PM, Friday NIGHT, Aug 24th., On Saturday Hokah Fun Daze has a fun FULL day planned for the whole family.  There will be Main Street Saloon Classic Car & Bike Show. canoe races, beanbag, horseshoe, volleyball tournaments, kids games, a beer tent and raffles! KNEI 103.5 DJ Music  11-3pm with Two local bands following, Stumpwater and The Town and Country Boys will be helping to provide entertainment Saturday night!
