Born in Queens, New York, Simeon mostly grew up in Sunnyvale, California, and was surrounded by music as is mother (stage name Monya Merrill), after a stint as a comedian in strip clubs, was a folk musician with a band called Birds of a Feather and also a successful Jazz singer (performing at the Purple Onion in San Francisco and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas) and would rehearse in their house with her partner Laine Merrill on her B3 organ. At nine years old, he started formal piano lessons, but soon figured out that the piano didn't quite fit his style of learning. Sometime later he got a classical guitar from Sears and self taught himself for several years before seeking out instructors, including Bud Dimick for the foundation of his training in Jazz guitar. His mother, when not rehearsing, was playing records all the time such as Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and well as jazz singers like Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson and Carmen McRae. He really developed an appreciation for vocalists and the simple beauty of music.

He began honing his craft and getting comfortable on stage by playing in a couple of party bands. Although hesitant at first, he also gained a lot of confidence in his vocal abilities from singing Karaoke. As Simeon grew into his voice and guitar style, he started to pull inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, which shapes the music he writes and performs today. While Simeon can cover songs ranging from John Lennon to Allman Brothers he often draws upon soulful singer/songwriters like Bonnie Raitt and David Crosby as his inspiration. 

His other hobbies include martial arts (brown belt in Ju Jitsu) and motorcycle riding. Simeon is currently based out of Campbell, CA. He is starting to work on recording and writing and getting a set list together for small gigs. He finds inspiration in his unusual and varied life experiences and channels those emotions into his songs, making his approach to music nostalgic and authentic.
