Black Light Disco barged its way back onto the myhouseradio.fm airwaves like a shop-a-holic made of elbows trying to navigate the winter sales in a department store.

Taking their seats in the BLD Towers 360 Cinema experience, Pookie Knights are the hosts for this week's show - lacing the first hour with disco juice straight from the funk coconut. 

Joining the Pookie Knights boys for the second hour, we have a special guest slot from Mascott! 

Mascott are DJ and Production tag team from Manchester, UK. Born in 2020, the duo of Matt & Scott are known for their ability of blending disco, house and their love of acid, which has given them a reputation of bringing energy to any dance floor.   
 
2021 has been a busy year for them as it saw the growth of their own night Good Custard, take off which has seen them host their summer ‘Disco Day Party’ series as well as their forthcoming club night ‘Basement Boogieland’ in Manchester. 
 
In just over a year they have supported some big names in the scene including Alan Dixon, Plastician, Birdee and Risk Assessment. The hectic summer of 2021 for the pair has not only seen them play their debut festival Summertime Live, but has made the duo familiar faces at many of Manchester’s notorious venues including; YES!, Kable, Brickhouse Social & Hatch. 
 
Their debut release ‘Ron Hardy’ was out earlier this year which was followed up by their piano house record ‘Graft’ on Kookee Records. In 2022, the pair have plenty more to come with their first EP ‘Never Gonna Be’ released on Moiss Black and forthcoming Disco/House releases on Moiss Music, Hot Groovers and Soulful Evolution as well as an Acid House EP on Hot Dog Recordings, they are both looking forward to what the future holds.

International Dj, producer and remixer Jonathan Douglas Braverman, known as Ladies On Mars, has been on a musical journey since the conception of 2006 of his successful Minimal Techno music project. The artist born in Buenos Aires has accumulated numerous achievements, although it was his 2007 hit "We Are Not Lesvicon", published on Xela Digital, which really impelled Ladies On Mars to be in the eye of the storm, reaching within the TOP 40 of Beatport's Minimal. Another of his great achievements was in 2009 when he won the Beatport contest for remixing the song "Peace" by the group Depeche Mode, his remix became the best-selling band in Beatport for several years.

Since then, the native of Argentina has continued to evolve, mutating its sound, perfecting from the Minimal Techno of its beginnings to the Tech-House, current Funky House. Remixing artists like Aka Aka and Home Video. Editing his music on labels such as Prison Entertainment, Emi Music or his own label: Boom Zwapp Records.

In addition to having an impressive subsequent catalog of solo and collaborative productions, Ladies On Mars has also offered remixes for numerous top-level musicians, including: AKA AKA, Daniele Petronelli, Min & Mal, Home Video, etc ...

Outside of the studio, Jonathan is a touring DJ who is in great demand and his daily agenda is fuller. Taking their Marsian sound and a unique mix of spatial sounds with a lot of groove mixed with Funk, House and Tech-House directly to the dance floor in some of the best clubs, festivals and events in the world in countries, including: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
