My co-host Greg was back in the driving seat for his monthly outing on the show, and he used the first hour of the show to showcase some of his favourite new jams around at the moment, plus one or two older goodies he found while digging around his digital crates.

In hour two, he welcomed his special guests and good friends James Caldecott and John Orton aka Late Night Disco. Their mix was recorded live at the highly regarded The Disco Express night at 25 Paul St, London - loads of feel-good jams, original disco and rare groove, a few reworks and an amusing amount of early Wham (which I'm told is due to John recently watching the Wham doc on Netflix)! :)

If you haven’t checked out this show before, it’s all about the underground vibes… music with emotion, energy and drive… criss-crossing the boundaries of proper house music, off the beaten track disco, global grooves and more … all selected to transport you to a dark sweaty club just like it used to be way back when 🎵😅🕺🏾

I kicked the show off with an hour of goodies dug from my vinyl and digital crates, including something beautifully leftfield from DJ Emma, a Janet Jackson dub from the legends Frankie and David, another wicked edit from Young Pulse, a late 90s garage cut from the Grant Nelson stable and loads more.

Then in part two, I handed over the controls to my good pal Faz (@stevefarrell) who has delivered a superb guest mix. This might be at a higher tempo from what we normally get from the Midnight Riot DJ, but still contains loads of uplifting jazzy disco goodness and includes several brand new promos that you will want to feast your ears on! International Dj, producer and remixer Jonathan Douglas Braverman, known as Ladies On Mars, has been on a musical journey since the conception of 2006 of his successful Minimal Techno music project. The artist born in Buenos Aires has accumulated numerous achievements, although it was his 2007 hit "We Are Not Lesvicon", published on Xela Digital, which really impelled Ladies On Mars to be in the eye of the storm, reaching within the TOP 40 of Beatport's Minimal. Another of his great achievements was in 2009 when he won the Beatport contest for remixing the song "Peace" by the group Depeche Mode, his remix became the best-selling band in Beatport for several years.

Since then, the native of Argentina has continued to evolve, mutating its sound, perfecting from the Minimal Techno of its beginnings to the Tech-House, current Funky House. Remixing artists like Aka Aka and Home Video. Editing his music on labels such as Prison Entertainment, Emi Music or his own label: Boom Zwapp Records.

In addition to having an impressive subsequent catalog of solo and collaborative productions, Ladies On Mars has also offered remixes for numerous top-level musicians, including: AKA AKA, Daniele Petronelli, Min & Mal, Home Video, etc ...

Outside of the studio, Jonathan is a touring DJ who is in great demand and his daily agenda is fuller. Taking their Marsian sound and a unique mix of spatial sounds with a lot of groove mixed with Funk, House and Tech-House directly to the dance floor in some of the best clubs, festivals and events in the world in countries, including: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
