I feel like I haven't posted in such a long time. But it's really only been about two weeks. I've been diligently and patiently working on this track - reaching close to 36 hours on this one project. It's not very often I spend so long on one track, but I felt like really diving deep and making this one special. I tried to really develop this one - creating something akin to a symphony with movements. Not only is it one of my longer pieces, but it's probably the first time I'm trying to incorporate key changes and tempo changes in a track as well. I strayed away from going my normal AI-generated album art route in favor of a more organic approach. I really just wanted to try my best to make every piece of this project from the ground up - with my own hands. I called this track, "Existence".

Fire was a gift from the titan Prometheus, a gift that he stole from the gods! And Prometheus was caught and brought to justice for his theft. The gods... well, you might say they overreacted. The poor man was tied to a rock, as an eagle ripped thru his belly and ate his liver, over and over, day after day. All because he gave us fire, our first true piece of technology. Fire.

100,000 B.C.: Stone tools. 4,000 B.C.: The wheel. 9th century A.D.: Gunpowder. 19th century: Eureka! The light bulb! 20th century: The automobile, television, nuclear weapons, spacecraft, Internet. 21st century: Biotech, nanotech, fusion and fission, and M-theory. And THAT was just the first decade!

We are now three months into the Year of Our Lord 2023. At this moment in our civilization, we can create cybernetic individuals--who, in just a few short years, will be completely indistinguishable from us--which leads to an obvious conclusion: We are the gods now.

For those of you who know me, you will be aware by now that my ambition is unlimited. You know that I will settle for nothing short of greatness or I will die trying. For those of you who do not yet know me, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Peter Weyland, and if you'd indulge me, I'd like to change the world.
