the first track, I cant get the riff out of my mind.

After a winter of hibernating and incubating I'm starting to look outwards and figured it was a good time to share some of the tunes I've been enjoying over the last lil bit. These are the ones that got me and my baby boppin' .. I hope you feel them too ♡

The evolution continues...as does the rain!

Opening night at Wonky Town was a vibe and a half, the space was a wonderland begging everyone to come play full to the brim with games, interactive installations, a cosy lamp lit lounge and all sorts of other shenanigans 

It was an honour and a privilege to play on a purpose built stage compliments of the festival and Fulcrum Designs in lieu of Sheila no longer being with us - May she forever rest in bass...

Also worth noting for full transparency and celebration of my musical journey that it was my first time performing live directly on the decks sans laptop and controller which was a whole new world in terms of convenience but all wrapped up in the kinda nerves I thought were behind me

Looking forward to continuing the learning process, experimenting with the weaving and manipulating of sound drawing inspiration from those in the know around me and as always with the highest level of gratitude and respect for the original creators

With change in the air and much anticipated wellness on the way it seemed like the right time to create a memento of this recent chapter of life... 

The music woven together in this homebrew is quite sentimental, the exact medicine I never knew I needed until it landed in my body at the right time and interestingly the right pace with most being a similar tempo and tone. 

Each of the tracks were recognised from within as a remedy long before I came to understand their meaning or relevance let alone marinade in their melodies. 

It is only now when I listen back that I come to appreciate the inner intelligence at work here and in turn start to rebuild some trust in my body and it’s ability to heal.

Today I crafted this pretty 'n gritty downtempo journey of blues and bass meets Folktronic Americana; it's the soundtrack to your longing...and lockdown. I feel ya, I got ya.   

Music meandering like the Mississippi and swampy like the bayou,  this grimy grip of downtempo speaks from a snatch of six-string, a chatter of banjos, lonesome  voices and pondering bass lines...
