There are a thousand cherished moments that we associate with this club. One of them occurs in the early hours of the morning, when the light streams into Theater through the stained glass windows. As the bass resonates through your veins and your limbs twitch with joy, the sunlight delicately caresses the faces of the dancers. These smiles, dipped in bliss, are unforgettable. We had the pleasure of performing for this beauty in the first morning hours of this year. And we want to express our gratitude a thousand times over with this recording. Yes, that’s our daughter laughing at the very beginning of this set. It’s a lovely memory shared by my wife and me, and I wanted to surprise her. We got married just the day before, right next to FUSION; it was basically our honeymoon. The look on her face made me fall in love with her all over again.

I deeply believe that DJing must be personal. The listener wants to engage with the essence of the artist, allowing a flow of energy that transcends mere beats and musical taste.

Well, this is my musical heartbeat, this is me. Some of these songs and ideas have accompanied me for years, listened to over and over, waiting for the right moment to be played. I would’ve cried my eyes out if I hadn’t been so occupied with mixing.

I am deeply grateful to @firespaceverein, who invited me again to play at their beautiful Firespace.

Was vor zwei Jahren mit einem Set auf einer wunderschönen Bühne begann wurde zu einer wirklich intensiven Planungs- und Aufbauphase in Lärz und führte dazu, dass ich dieses Jahr Teil der Seebühnen Crew werden durfte. Danke an alle tolle Menschen vom Skandlös & Horst Blau für eure herzliche Aufnahme und das Vertrauen, dass ich den neu gestalteten Schuhkarton eröffnen durfte. Es war genial und so schön, das Fusion Opening für eine solche wunderbare Crew zu spielen - und was soll ich sagen: es wurde ein fuckin' crazy Sauna Ritt. Ich hoffe ich kann mit diesem Set etwas Liebe (und Schweiß) an die wilde Meute zurück geben 💦

All das und viele weitere Erlebnisse machen diese Fusion für mich zu was ganz Einmaligem und ich werde die Erinnerungen daran im Herzen behalten. Auf alte sowie neue Freundschaften, die Mutter aller Festivals & 25 weitere Jahre! 🥂

This is my Utopia Opening of our 3000Grad Festival starting in the rain and heating up through the days. 
Thank you to my 3000Grad family for putting this together year for year. I never missed it since 2010 by the way. Great to grow old here together 🤓

Also thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to dance to my set. So this crazy thing happened: I played at Burning Man! Back in Germany when @okaxy told me, that I have the opportunity to play there, I thought, that I will finally realize this, when I find myself in the middle of the desert fighting with a sandstorm to an average of 110 BPM. But to be honest, I still don't get it, even though I did find myself in the middle of the desert fighting with a sandstorm...
... and I spelled it "Dessert" so often, that I want icecream every single time..... "You scream, I scream, Everybody wants ice-cream!"

So this is my recording of my set for Funky Town, which makes this experience a little bit more real when listening to it. It did happen !

“Judith van Waterkant was born in the beautiful baltic sea area and crashed into her fathers vinyl collection in a glas vitrine while dancing along with the record "Life is Life" at the tender age of 3. "Nananananaaa"!
Since then she’s not only gained a couple dangerous looking scars, which would be visible if she shaved her head, and gotten prepared to join in with the fights in the streets of Rostock, she’s also kept her deep passion of music with her, always on her mind. At the age of 14, she had a crush on her guitar teacher and has deeply loved music since that time, from every pore of her skin, which became even clearer to her later when she found herself in a massage circle where everybody was humming “Give Peace a Chance” in order to alleviate the difficulties and challenges of puberty. However, no one was supposed to find out about that. “If I die today, I’ll die happy” was her boozy attitude back then. It’s exactly this spirit that the Leipziger-by-choice tried to convey in her so-called Mindset-Sets, in a down-and-mid-beat-comfortzone between 100-115 BPM on the dance-floors of the world or on the couch at home.”
