Critical Music founder Kasra Mowlavi has launched Best Intentions, a new label with the aims of no musical limitations, style or tempo.

‘Flower Burial’, a project by gyrofield blends influences from house, techno, ambient and acid jazz under a backdrop of ambiguous melodramatic mysticism.

A portion of profits will go to a charity of the artist’s choosing: gyrofield has chosen Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Omni Music welcomes the talented Neuralfold to the label. He gives us 5 tracks of breakbeat atmospherics to showcase his talents. The first track 'Lyman Alpha' is a masterclass of oldskool breaks meeting shimmering pads and melodics, both classic sounding and forward thinking. 'Collapse' takes crisp drums and futuristic synths to change the vibe completely and send the listener deep into the cosmos. 'Eigenvector' glistens with beautiful synths and deep bass stabs with chopping breaks that deliver another musical journey beyond the stratosphere. 'Solstice' is up next with more chopped rhythms, deep sub, serene keys and soaring pads before this stunning EP ends on 'Vacuum Energy' where the groove intensifies with crisp beat edits, floating pads and sparkling melodies. We can't wait for more from Neuralfold, who has shown that he is an up and coming force to be reckoned with in astral breakbeats.
