Daniel Sevelt served time in the blues bars of Texas before decamping for the Northeast, where he too caught the club music bug, DJing alongside artists like Afrika Bambaataa, Eddie Elias and Honey Dijon, and starting a company which provided state of the art lighting and visual design for epic events starring Skrillex, Dieselboy, Steve Aoki, Rusko and many others. An active proponent of Boston’s vibrant LGBT community, Sevelt held a residency at the fabled club Machine and was a featured DJ at the two Pride parades.
