Biography 
Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. Producer, DJ and Songwriter JANZZYBEATZ, noticed that he was very musically inclined at the early age of 9. Self taught how to play the drums and piano, he then grew interest in music production at the age of 15. In 2011, he had the opportunity to work with Kat DeLuna and locked in a placement deal for writing her song "Blaze It Up" featuring Busta Rhymes. He has also produced and wrote for R&B Singer/Songwriter "Isa". Her debut single "Safehouse" from her "Montage" EP has been featured in many blog sites as well as played overseas. Janzzy has also worked with rapper "5th Ave Verse" where his diversity was showcased by creating EDM driven tracks. He expanded his horizons by then becoming a DJ and displaying his skills in the Meat Packing District in New York City not only spinning todays hottest music but also blending in his original tracks. In 2014, Janzzy released his debut instrumental project “Tunnel Vision” EP in all major digital stores such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon etc. After noticing how well his EP was received by everyone he then decided to release his follow up instrumental EP “Homage” in late 2016. His passion for electronic dance music is one of his biggest attributes simply because he loves to make music that makes people want to move. He once stated” If you create an idea and it is executed in a way where someone as young as a toddler starts to dance or sing a long to the record, you know you have a hit in your hands.” Music continues to evolve but, the formula to timeless music stays the same. One thing is for sure, Janzzy has the right formula embedded in him.

Gonejah grew up in the 80s listening to artists like EPMD,RUN DMC, BEASTIE BOYS,LL COOL J, PUBLIC ENEMY AND MANY MORE ARTISTS WHO PAVED THE WAY AND GAVE HIM INSPIRATION AT A YOUNG AGE TO FREESTYLE AMONG HIS PEERS. 
BORN AND RAISED IN SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA HE WAS RAISED BY THE STREETS AND TOOK HIS STORIES HE LOVED THROUGH PERSONAL PAIN AND STRUGGLES AMD MADE THEM INTO POETRY.  LATER AS HE GOT OLDER HE REALIZED HE HAD A GIFT TO MAKE MUSIC AND MOVE A CROWD. HE WAS SHY IN THE BEGINNING BUT HIS FRIENDS ENCOURAGED HIM TO MAKE MORE SONGS. AS HE BEGAN TO GROW IN THE HIPHOP COMMUNITY OF SAN DIEGO HIS TALENTS HAVE ALLOWED HIM TO SHARE STAGES WITH MANY PREDOMINANTE MUSICIANS IN THE REGGAE SCENE AND HIPHOP SCENE ALIKE. NOW RECOGNIZED AS A FOUNDATION IN THE HIPHOP COMMUNITY OF SAN DIEGO HE AND HIS BEST FRIEND SELEKTAH REEFAH STARTED MIC CHECK MONDAYS IN OCEAN BEACH CALIFORNIA AND 10 YEARS LATER THEY HAVE THE LONGEST RUNNING HIPHOP NIGHT WITH LIVE PERFORMANCES IN SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA HISTORY. HE CONTINUES TO MAKE APPEARANCES EVEN AT THE AGE OF 43 AND STILL HAS THE ABILITY TO CONTROL THE MICROPHONE AND ALSO ROCK THE CROWD. GONEJAH IS A TRUE HIPHOP ARTIST WHO HAS A VERY UNIQUE STYLE OF REGGAE AND HIPHOP MIXED WITH RNB. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED SEEING HIM PERFORM LIVE.
