In a sea of artist boasting about money, cars, and clothes, Los Angeles bred artist, Lady Lines comes to us like a breath of fresh air. Her music revolves around the day to day life of the people of her generation in her community. Her lyrics remain raw and are reminiscent of a young Tupac. Lady Lines possesses the ability to turn heads in the music industry with her musical passion and lyrical virtuoso.

As a baby, Lines was taken from an unstable home and placed in foster care. At the age of 3 her grandmother was able to gain custody of her. Life was good and by 12 years old she felt she had been preordained to make an impact in the industry. The following year the state decided that at her grandmothers age she was unable to care for Lines. The resilient teen was again placed in the over crowded and grossly neglected foster care system.

The years that followed were tough. She moved frequently all over southern California. Not bound to any particular city. It was during this time she discovered that music was the only thing consistent and stable in her life.

By 2002 a motivated Lines started to take her music more seriously and she was ready to take it to the next level. A talented battle rapper, Lines found she was also a natural in the booth. This sparked her drive and ambition. She wanted to let people going through the same things she was going through know that, “Just because you come from nothing, doesn't mean you can't be something.”

In 2006 fellow artist Zriddler, whom Lines now looked at as a brother from collaborating in other groups together, started Corner 2 Corporate Inc. Lines was eager to join the new company and shes been making hot street records ever since. Lady Lines has been going full throttle toward her dreams, performing all over southern California as well as in Las Vegas. In 2010's “Bi-product of the Ghetto” Lines showcases her her charisma and lyrical prowess.

She continues to evolve as an artist while staying true to her west coast roots. She hopes to leave a legacy and plans to bring hip hop back to everyday people by relating to the life they live

“Da Arsonist” known for killing the stage has had the opportunity to perform at The Legendary Apollo Theater and also was honored two years in the row by W.U.G.R (one of Columbus’s hottest internet radio stations) for her involvement in the local underground movement. Barb Wire has also performed in Philadelphia, Pa at The Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes Mixer and she’s a regular attendee that travels frequently to Hollywood, CA to the ASCAP I Create Music Expo to network with fellow aspiring songwriter’s and composers

Barb Wire’s brand has expanded since she has partnered with Aaron Mitchell CEO of Slumlord Studio’s back in 2012. This hip-hop veteran producer has brought out the authentic side of this music creator we know of today and she is sure to be seen globally and heard nationwide in due time
