The third single and music video “Le Petit Prince” off of the forthcoming debut album “Journey to the Cosmic Soul” will take you on a ride that goes back to the future of celestial sounds and beauty, deep bass funk, serenading strings, and groovy synths.
This song was written shortly after Prince’s transition. “We wanted to channel a musical piece and visual concept that would share the beauty, originality, and celestial genius that he possessed. The 'Cosmic Soul' is the portal to infinity. The gateway to your true identity among the stars.” - Lady Moon
“Le Petit Prince” is the third visual production in anticipation of the upcoming debut album, following “Global Warning” (2019) and “Star Gazing” (2018).

We welcome Lady Moon & the Eclipse, on their first show and visit to Holyoke.

Being this show, their last of 2019, we got the opportunity to have a conversation with all the band about its origins, the meaning of representation of Cosmic Soul, with a multi-cultural proposal that fuses soul, R&B, afrobeat, jazz, and Congolese roots. This diverse band work together as an alignment of talents, that creates music connected to the cosmic soul energy.

The voices of Lady Moon & the Eclipse are sisters Ngonda Badila, on lead vocals; Ntangou Badila, and Nkoula Badila, on backup vocals, representing Congo.
The rest of the band includes Arlen Ginsburg, on the Keyboards (from Chicago, USA); Jonathan Camuzeaux, on the Bass (from France); and Ken Reichl, on the Drums (from Japan).

Our podcast session includes the performance of their songs "Augmented" as the opening track, and it wraps up with "Vibrations".

Lady Moon & The Eclipse is a multicultural ensemble from New York. Through soaring vocal textures and R&B/afrobeat-influenced rhythms, the multicultural community create inspirational music that explores the cosmic soul; a journey to become one's best self.
Lady Moon lead singer and songwriter, carries the essence of the Moon sending a message of love, peace, and light, while the musicians serve as the Sun shining light upon her. The audience represents the Earth, also known as the Star People of Earth, completing the metaphorical eclipse. With a marked emphasis on inclusivity and spiritual unity, Lady Moon explores positive music through the live experience to grow and make a difference in her community and in the world.
