Somethin's Missing

This song is special to me - it's a window into my unique mind, showing what it's really like to have autism and ADHD. A lot of the time, it can feel like there is a block in my mind, similar to when the moon eclipses the sun and turns the world dark and quiet for a few moments. With my music (and this song especially) I aim to spread awareness of the nature of our reality as nuerodivergents, in a world where mental health is often overlooked and invalidated.

ECLIPSE

This is a song about how you can start out your life with all these hopes and dreams and expectations of how life should be, only for it to go a completely different way than you could ever have imagined. Going through painful things that disrupt everything you thought you knew, destroying to your innocent outlook and shape who you are becoming. And you start to feel powerless, like life just happens to you no matter what you think or do.
But, you grow and learn that ultimately, everything leads up to a point where you realize you must decide which way you want your life to go. The decisions you make ultimately determine the path of your own life, and your choices are a catalyst. Utilize your agency, and know that your story is not predetermined. This is the Hero’s Journey.
