I was flying through empty space
Free and wild, making so much noise

But nothing was making sense, although I thought I saw it all
Time was stretching thin, felt myself fading away

Then your gravity pulled me in, with so much space to fill
Never moved this way before, I couldn't let you carry on

sitting there in the dark, with a black cloud around your heart
so heavy you couldn't stand, so we took each others hands

Find out how much I can take, try turning up that heat
My light shines brightest against the dark
When I'm up against that wall
I can't stand up but I can't fall
And I'm about to lose it all
When the clouds begin to change
and the Light shines through again
