For the chorus, we used the chord hits of Call Me Maybe and superimposed the Gotye meleody on top.  For the verse, we used the chords of the Gotye verse, and reinterpreted the Call Me Maybe verse melody and lyrics.  Enjoy!

LAIDBACK LUKE REMIXED AUSTIN LEEDS "CLOSE YOUR EYES" FEAT. JASON CAESER!

Mr. Laidback Luke must have no reason to be laid-back with his heavy tour schedule and absolutely busy production list. But he stays fit and energizes the floors with his new tunes and remixes. Master himself picked Austin Leeds to feature his latest "Close Your Eyes" with the vocals of Jason Caesar on Mixmash Records.

The tune is so beautifully made and reminded Luke of the old Axwell's works. Especially the vocals blew Luke away. Now he is making his step towards somewhat funky, ravy and big-room feeling in his remix for "Close Your Eyes". Cutting synths, burning electro lines and scratching sounds - they take the original way beyond imagination. Get ready to jump hard when the drop comes! Just like you always do when Luke's music is on!

This also features B.I.G and O.D.B, (dead poets society CAPital punishment division) 
Got much props for killing corrupt cops with buckshots.

Maximum respect, blessings and everlasting peace to all these amazing artists who are sadly no longer with us.

This would definitely benefit from an improved final mix and master, but this is about as good as I'm gonna get it sounding right now, any feedback on levels, bass frequency, eq, reverb etc.much appreciated, I've gotta start learning this side of music properly.

Cuts and drum programming are mine, backing track basically follows the original which is why the bpm is kind of fluid.
