@dj-koolt has been pivotal to the rise of his native Uruguayan scene ever since he started spinning in the 90s. Rooted in Montevideo, he made it one of the most exciting places to hear minimalist dance music. Its spiritual home is Phonotheque, the club he co-founded a decade ago and where he lays down his forward-thinking sounds to a devoted and hardcore fan base. 

The scene Godfather goes big for us this week with a two-hour deep dive into his sound. It perfectly showcases his silky transitions and ability to tell stories on the dance floor. Acid, breaks and techno are the foundational sounds but they are embellished in signature style with plenty of spaced-out designs, a sense of gritty industrial futurism and plenty of avant-garde electronics.

Following up their initial Warning debut with a split single in 2020, we are pleased to welcome back the fierce combination of Sansibar and Reptant on Warning. For our annual 7” release we invited them to remix each others track in celebration of the friendship that binds us.

On the remix of Lizard Of Oz, Sansibar adds a catchy vocal sample and shifts the psychedelic electro vibe into more clubby territory. On the other hand, Reptant treats the subtle original by My Boom with his typical deep and penetrating production style. The result of these young geniuses coming together again is a thrilling spectacle for any lover of contemporary electro sound.

Hola les presento mi nuevo disco estrenando mi nueva identidad para hacer musica "The Mission". El nombre sale de mi lugar de procedencia, yo me crie en un barrio muy humilde en Posadas Misiones jugando en la calle descalzo y trepando arboles. Lo lindo de este album para mi fue compartir la creacion con amigos como Mariano Trapo que participo en DK64 lo grabamos junto en cinta y se programo unos golpes en la 727 en chillin, como tambien Mystery Friend axel que grabamos juntos y produjimos Western Night. Grabado 1 semana despues de X-Beat, este disco esta terminado en el mismo tiempo. Agradezco a mi familia, a mariano, axel y Shony, EL URU por ser unos copados y estar conmigo siempre, hacerme el aguante en mis proyectos, tambien a ignacio acevedo por ayudarme a hacer los videos para los temas y subirlos en su pc porque la mia esta rota, eso cabros. Amor y paz para todxs !
