West, the Wild Card of the Technoids Residents, known for her completely unique twist on delivering hard "boom-boom's" to the LA techno crowd. West has curated a unique style that incorporates jaunty and effervescent melodies, groovy and bouncy and deep rhythms, acid baselines, and use of dreamy and transcendental samples.

With some deep-rooted influence from Tekno, acid-core, neo-rave and 90's trance, West is like sunshine and rainbows, spinning both popular hits and obscure gold to paint the dancefloor with candyfloss and bubblegum grooves that never fails to deliver the hard or the fast.

West always brings the high-energy, feel-good vibes with her mixing. She brings such refreshing uniqueness, that her style needed to be given a name of its own: Dream-Core.

Premiere: Ryuji Takeuchi - Neither (Tomohiko Sagae Remix) [Blame Records]

Ryuji Takeuchi's career goes back 20 years, with his first releases defining his style as a techno-oriented producer. However, his subsequent artistic development has evolved into a more raw, industrial-influenced sound, and today, we see his artistic persona as closely linked to this sub-genre that combines elements of both musical genres.

Ryuji Takeuchi joins the Blame Rec catalogue alongside other big names we associate directly with the label, such as Katran and Violet Poison. The Japanese artist is an ideal candidate to join the ranks of this Italian label, as both projects have many points in common, especially a musical perspective based on the solidity and oversaturated energy of techno-industrial.

Either/Neither is an EP with two original tracks and three covers. Either is extremely aggressive, fast and with a clear tendency towards distorted textures. Neither is also generated in a hostile environment, although somewhat slower, and with a syncopated rhythmic opening bars that vary sharply to the binary. Hypnoskull creates a version of Either, and Cervello Elettronico and Tomohiko Sagae remix Neither.

Flashworx is a Swiss nu-italo duo that has been active since 2009. Anthony Hammer and Mike Arthur Le Trèfle are born in the 80's, and they don't accept their life in the 21st century. These dudes want to bring you back to the days where Don Johnson was king and it was ok to wear only one white sequined glove. After 2 EP's, "Two Guys In Japan" and "Futurisma", they working on their 1st LP, which will be probably released at the end of the year. At the same time, Anthony Hammer presents his new project (Mirana) with a new artist from Switzerland. Keep an eye out for it!

Taken from the Italian phrase for computer that literally translates to electronic brain, Cervello Elettronico is the electronic musical act founded by David Christian [aka Snarf]. 

Influenced by 80s Industrial and 90s Electronica, the project's inception in 2001 contributed to a new underground scene growing in the New York City area. Several demos and self released EPs were sold and openly distributed throughout the internet before the the act landed it's first live show supporting Manufactura and Terrorfakt in the spring of 2004 at NYC's legendary Albion night. 

Since 2004, Cervello Elettronico has been experimenting with dance beats in front of audiences all over the world in new and interesting ways sharing the same stage with various musical acts as Meat Beat Manifesto, Esplendor Geometrico, Snog, Haujobb, Noisex, Terrorfakt, P.A.L. , and Combichrist.

Led Er Est emerged from a series of jam sessions that core members Shawn O’Sullivan and Sam De La Rosa started having in early 2007, using bass guitar, some cheap drum machines, and synths. They were inspired to record music largely by ’70s synth prog, and ’80s lo-fi electronic and industrial music. They recorded a number of songs at friend Will Burnett’s studio that fall. Their first officially released track was on the Wierd Records compilation, Analogue Electronic Music Vol II. Owen Hutchinson joined the band for their first live show at the Wierd party that December. In January of 2008, they released their first 7-inch, a split with Excepter member Jon Porkchop aka SSPS.

Throughout 2008 and 2009 they self-recorded their first album, Dust on Common, which Wierd Records released in Nov. of 2009. In spring of 2010, they toured Europe with Xeno and Oaklander, playing shows in the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Subsequently they released a 7-inch and then the May EP on Captured Tracks. Led Er Est did a brief west coast run with Soft Moon last fall and just played SXSW. On stage and in the studio Led Er Est create a thick wall of atmospheric soundscapes using vintage analog recording devices, samplers, and synths using sci-fi soundtracks and cold wave as reference points.
