The creation of music committing itself to a certain roughness and party-compatibility, that is the new creed of the first 12"-vinyl by Laine. Positioned between disco-house, electro-pop and in some moments even a plain touch of indie-rock, you will have a whale of a time enjoying the outcome.

As always the Austrian-Swedish trio continue to thump synthesizers, comps and all sorts of different effects. And there is no lack of vocals - the fine voice of Kristina Lindberg blends in with dirty basslines, guitars and strongly distorted sounds.

The two remixes by "Transformer di Roboter" from Berlin and "Parov Stelar himself" make "Hem" an extremely entertaining 12" - a rough club-sound record to rock to.

„Dance for Norma Jeane“ that is the motto of the new EP by LAINE. Using a forceful electro-track and the recordings from the successful guest-performance by FUCKHEAD´s frontman Didi Bruckmayr, LAINE creates a distinct tribute to Marilyn Monroe. It was released on the new in-house electronic-label WINTERLAND RECORDINGS.

The injured Diva
Silke SILK Grabinger´s Dance-Performance "[SLIK]" served as a source of inspiration. In her performance the artist slowly approaches the icon of Marilyn Monroe using urban styles, breakdance and contemporary dance.

LAINE carried the idea even further and produced LADYLIKE: a bizarre duett – Norma Jeane vs. MM. The swedish front-girl´s (Kristina Lindberg) smooth vocals clash with Bruckmayr´s powerful voice to create an ingenious interplay.

More than ever LAINE plunge into the domain of clubsounds. The exciting mix of electro-beats, forceful basslines and 80ies synths are an expicit invitation to the dancefloor.

The Bruckmayr Sessions, part II.  After the great success of their single ‚Ladylike’ the austro-swedish trio now released two more tracks with Fuckhead´s frontman.
Laine´s exciting mix of electro-beats, forceful basslines and 80ies synths keep on sweeping through the clubs – looking gorgeous on sparkling high heels straight from the 80ies, needless to say.
