Two of the Black Madonna's most sought after early tracks return to circulation alongside one burning new jam on Goodbye To All This, the latest release from Stripped & Chewed. 

Drawn from the Chicago label's 2012 compilation Livin' For The City EP, the piano dappled joy of "Exodus" luxuriates across side A, spreading the good word with a pounding beat. "We Don't Need No Music (Thank You, Rahaan)" from SCRS004 takes another whirl around the dancefloor, its pinwheeling horns and infectious vocals pulling even wallflowers into the fray. And in case two remastered sure-shots aren't enough, the brand new "Who Do You Need" closes the record with a soulful thwack: half uplifting house, half blistering techno -- all peak-time fodder. A fine addition to the Black Madonna's discography alongside records for Argot, The Nite Owl Diner, Hometaping Is Killing Music, and of course Stripped & Chewed.

To kick things off, Sosumi welcomes Dutch producer Regilio with his Sosumi debut ‘Who’. This track takes you back to the warehouse raves of the early 90’s bringing the sound to a new generation of listeners!

Then we bring the long awaited ‘Luma’ from up and coming Brazilian producer Olin Batista. With its infectious brass groove and thumping kick drums you feel immersed in the party spirit of the Rio carnival with this track.

Finally we welcome back Sweden’s Lunde Bros with their follow up to ‘Death Star’. ‘Aftershock’ is a electro tinged monster with loads a tribal groove running right through it!

Mountain Lion Ft. Julie Elody

As we welcome another talented artist to our family we asked Viken about the first part of a two part release and he told us...

"it's really important to understand that this EP is a series of pictures telling a story. Combining the names of all the tracks one gets this interesting and dreamy sentence,'On A Blue Road - A White Shadow - Feels The Winter'.To translate these pictures into music, I needed a very particular sound. Since I am a huge fan of Jazz music I took one of my favorite records, used a lot of samples and reworked them in my own way. From the technical aspect, I decided to reconnect with my first love: analog machines. I love working with sound textures. I stayed away from my laptop and all my VST/Plugins as I felt the need to compose these tracks in an unusual way: I wanted the sound to be really pure. That's the reason why this process was so essential for me. For me, this EP is the first one to sound like this".

This is the first of two releases from a deeply talented soul. A patient collage of house, jazz, acid squiggles and deep emotion. Played and loved all summer long by Lee Burridge at All Day I Dream, these tracks will stay with you through winter and into next summer.
