Happy to share @synalegg's Patchwork-02, a mixtape built from forgotten sound material, generated during phases of musical research, coming from different patches, different methods, different periods.

@synalegg is a French electronic musician who explores sound matter by designing his own digital tools. He mainly uses Puredata software to build musical environments that combine algorithmic sequencing, granular synthesis, sound and visual data processing.

Un aquifère est un sol ou une roche réservoir originellement poreuse ou fissurée, contenant une nappe d'eau souterraine et suffisamment perméable pour que l'eau puisse y circuler librement. 
La pièce sonore Aquifère est une composition immersive faite à quatres mains à partir de différentes sources sonores enregsitrées dans l’espace où Lucie et Clarice ont exposé durant l’exposition Habiter sous les reflets à Atoma. Des sons métalliques produits par l’installation de Lucie où des transducteurs font vibrer des plaques métalliques à partir de panneaux solaires captant la lumière des installations dans la pièce mais aussi des sons organiques provenant des fontaines en céramiques de Clarice amplifiées à l’aide d’un hydrophone et rediffusés dans l’espace.

Aiôn is a Hellenistic deity associated with time, ex. season, breath, sleep (dream) etc, even Deleuze describes Cinematic time as aiôn which stretches out to become an intangible past and future, or Chronos (Chr), the ever-present that expresses only the here and now. In Geology, aiôn uses for eternity time which could also refer to four aiôns that make up the earth’s history. Aiôn is defined in Astronomy as Trillion years. Thus, we could say hibernatemode is in aiôn where an entity breaks relation with outside.

Su Yu Hsin composes essay film through philosophical and scientific approach to overlap and juxtaposition image with events, ex. Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in 2011. Australian scientists’ microscopic investigation of antarctic moss reveals atmospheric record of Earth in its layer of cells. She uses found footage, data and facts to visualize relational geographic analysis. Hibernatemode comprised of 2- channel video and six channel sound installation. She collaborates with Sound artist Aloïs Yang to constructed nature in exhibition space.

"Like entering a palatial hall of mirrors, LXV’s A Screen Memory opens with a baroque, choral synthesis. There are seraphs atop gilded plinths, chandeliers overhead. You’re ushered through an ornate, jeweled backdoor, and outside, it’s a beautiful bright day. Down a mossy path the calm patter of rain begins. A brook gurgles. There are voices too, though indiscernible. You arrive at a well brimming with crystalline data. But then a fog descends from behind. And down you go.

The place you arrive in appears familiar, but something is off. Strange transmissions travel the air. Anomalies all around. Paradox reigns. Notions such as backwards and forwards lose meaning as do sender and receiver. The landscape is littered with softwares, broken bells. Looking up, there, some things in the shrouded distance: sonic objects, unidentified, glowing, you squint to get a good look, but before you can comprehend, the brain change concludes, and your paranoia turns to coursing pleasure.
