Distortion Flames is a new electro rock duo. Over the years combined with improvements and experiments with musical styles it has developed its own style which is different from other sounding bands. 

It more accurately be described as "Indus breaks". This sub-genre of music is a fusion of guitar sounds and melody inherent in alternative rock music with broken electronic drum rhythms, heavy acidic bass lines, inherent in such electronic musical styles as progressive breaks, dub step, big beat. 
You can also note the periodic use of industrial elements combined with orchestral interments and choir singing. 

After three years of hard work debut album was released in December 2014.

Hailing from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Nick McCarty, AKA Gretzky is a true artist. Nick has been an institution in Seattle since 2003. Having played with some of the biggest names in the industry he is ready to bring his unique brand of devious artistry to the rest of the waiting world. Being a drummer for over 18 years, rhythm is truly in his soul. His unprecedented style of cutting edge bass music production and live performance has earned him admiration throughout the great northwest. Whether dubstep, drumstep, trap, midtempo, d&b, or live drumming this master of percussion fills your ears with a euphoric mix of joy and dirty angst. His production work has landed him releases through well-established labels such as Ultragore Recordings, Noctem Audio, and Total Damage Records, and the future promises to be filled with more original work and remixes on the horizon. Gretzky, helping to make the world a filthier place to live for all of us crowd rockers and ninjas of the night.
