I'm learning this tough song by the amazing Molly Tuttle, I still have to figure out the final solo (I've been watching some live videos of her until I could see/hear every note and practiced like that)... 
Who knows one day Molly finds my version and gives me some sheet music or some tutorial...!!!

'The Virgin's Fountain' is the story of a man who mourns the loss of his lover, turned into a pop song!

In April 2022, when I joined the Tuscany Singer-songwriter Retreat & Festival curated by Brett Perkins (https://www.listeningroomretreats.com), I worked with Nanne-Emelie Andersen, a Danish girl that lives in Norway: our task was "observe and describe" and she found the subject of this song just looking at a passenger and the surroundings; we wrote the lyrics together and the melodies came out of my head almost spontaneously and along with the words. This work was finally enriched by Vincent Vitale, who played beautiful piano and synth parts, and producer Giulio Tonini, who brightly supported my ideas by creating the best groove, arranged with the right sounds and worked on mixing and mastering. I can't help mentioning Pierluigi Schiavone who especially created and drew the artwork for this single.

Look what they've done to my song (La Marti's afternoon cover)

Recorded on 3rd February 2016 at around midnight/2:00am. I was playing the guitar and singing very softly because it was very late and I didn't want to wake up all the neighbours and my family... but if they heard me I hope they enjoyed it as a lulluby.

I added the bass and the drums with Garageband's instruments. 

Equipment: GarageBand for iPad + Yamaha C70 Classical Guitar + iPhone s4 earphones and mic. Bass and Drums loops made with GarageBand.

Call me crazy but I'm in love with this song and I couldn't but record it :) This song was written by Brian May and of course I had to "give my interpretation" of the guitar parts (in my defence - just to quote another one). You can find a video of him playing this song with a 12th string guitar, very nice (and inspiring) - link below - .
