Lots of synths - bass arp, pianos, reverb and acoustic guitars, orchestral basses, cello, and French horn set to hip hop and Latin beats at 75 bpm.

I played French horn as a child from age 10-18 in a public school concert band and later marching band. So I added a brief French horn passage with cello in a short classical treatment to herald the arrival of Venus and a nod to the Renaissance painting of the Goddess of Love.

Amazing Grace  (Cover)

Well Hello... Winter's been holding on here for this past week in late April. It was 12 degrees the other night and we had quite a bit of new snow. I've been snow shoveling several times this week. It has slowly been warming up though and I have been outside gardening when I can. I also got the chance to play some slide guitar, after taking a break from attempting to learn clawhammer banjo. Yes, banjo! I dusted off the old thing, and struggled to get it in tune. I have the basic 'claw' down now, and I am relearning some basic banjo chords I had forgotten. Surprisingly, I came to this song by way of the banjo. (Thank you banjo!) I had been stuck on this one claw movement, so I tried some slide banjo, which was a noisy venture at best. That is when I put the banjo down and recorded this song. (My roundabout way of creating music.) So now I am off to plant several flats of vegetable seeds. I moved a bunch of houseplants so I could put the seed-growing table by the largest window. It can hold 120 plant pots in 6 flats containing tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, kale, squash, cucumbers, some flowers and assorted others. I transplant them outside when the weather warms up. I just realized I have been planting like this for almost 30 years. Wish me luck... Thanks for dropping by, Mark
