TOWNSHIP REBELLION level up once again, sharing ‘The Neverending Story’, their stunning fourth EP on Truesoul.The powerhouse duo is back, this time arriving on Truesoul for their maiden solo offering, following elite collaborations with Victor Pilava (‘Bohemia / Mephisto’), NoNameLeft (‘Expand Now / Adriana Said’) and Flanko (Your Reality / My Prophecy).

Active since 2012, there’s a sense the German producers / DJs get better with every release, crafting immersive journeys marked by cinematic sound design and groove-ridden dancefloor sensibilities. ‘The Neverending Story’ epitomises this approach. ‘Mockingbird’ is a blissful end-of-night burner, marked by humming b-lines and lush multi-layered synths – a prog classic-in-the-making. Like its mythological title, ‘Hades&Persephone’ is a study in darkness vs light, as rugged percussive layers and full-bodied drums build an atmospheric brew before the track takes a divine uplifting turn.
