Hey there LAMP Fam. We are extremely excited today to share with you new music and a guest mix from an artist we are very fond of here at LAMP, Tim Engelhardt. Over the years he  has put together an absolutely incredible portfolio of music and established himself as one of the top producers of Melodic House/ Techno/ Progressive/ whatever you want to call it, dance music. As part of a new collective and label called Scenarios, Tim has a new EP that was released April 1st, 2022 called ‘Here To Stay’.  It is the first instalment of the series and is a collaboration from three of the five members of the collective, Engelhardt, Sean Doron and Maga. The Scenarios project is made up of five artists and the label will be releasing music and putting together events almost exclusively within this group which includes the aforementioned artists. Scenarios is rounded out with two more outstanding producers, Yulia Niko and Emanuel Satie.  The first EP consists of two exceptional tracks ‘Here To Stay’ along with ‘You & I, Paradise’ feat DUDDHA.  You can hear both of them in the exclusive guest mix provided by Engelhardt down below and you can pick them up from Beatport or add them to your Spotify lists by hitting the links a little further down. LAMP MIx #329 Feat. Tim Engelhardt

Childhood friends Shamil & Jason from Moçambique, became the DJ & producer duo Perspectiv when they both moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016. They run their own events brand called ‘Crossing Worlds’ and have become a staple for afro-house & organic music in the Vancouver nightscene. The duo weaves their multicultural backgrounds into a story that takes audiences traveling through sonic landscapes that span from Latin America to their mother continent of Africa. Perspectiv reveals a wild passion for transcending the boundaries of different genres and always aim to connect people to their roots, a portal that often only music can unlock. The duo have an upcoming EP on Harabe Lab, and one more surprise release for this year.

We poured ourselves into preparing this set. Playing midnight to 1:30am before the legendary Lee Burridge, we wanted to craft a journey that would pull the dance floor inward, putting them in touch with their emotions while putting them in motion. We don't often prepare a set tracklist, but we did for this set to keep the energy ebbing and flowing just right while weaving across different tonalities. We hope you enjoy this melodic dreamscape through the introspective, melancholy, groovy, and uplifting.
