In the space of just four years and little over 20 releases, Hamburg’s JEUDI Records has established itself as one of the foremost imprints in the world of melodic deep and tech house music. Born from the weekly club night of the same name taking place at their hometown venue Baalsaal (on the infamous Reeperbahn), it’s a label which focuses on quality over quantity, and has showcased music from the likes of Doctor Dru, Adana Twins, Turntablerocker, Sidney Charles and Monte in its short but acclaimed history. House Of Jeudi makes for a seriously moreish listen, full to the brim of incredibly consistent and charismatic dancefloor delights - with each label picking six tracks. JEUDI’s selection takes us from the moody Reese basslines of Danito & Athina’s Harmony Baby, to Sean Roman’s contemplative I Find Myself and the spooky depths of Camelphat’s 360, while House Of Disco journey through the skippy funk of Roberto Rodriguez’s North Step, HNNY’s delicate Oma Doris, and the slinky disco of LeSale’s Fit Trucker.

Suited just as well to the home stereo as to the dancefloor, it’s an engrossing compilation that’s got plenty to offer for DJs and casual listeners alike, and looks set to cement both labels incredibly solid reps even further.

This podcast will do just the trick to get you into Weihnachtsstimming. That weak attempt at making a pun aside, we do want to wish you some happy holidays with this podcast. If you're celebrating with a progressive family: put this on and see if you can get your aunt dancing on the table, waving a tablecloth above her head (and send us the pictures).

This podcast is a live recording of Stimming at the ZilpZalp Festival in former East Germany. Wouldn't we rather have a tailor made podcast to put exclusively on our channel? In Stimming's case, the answer is no. His music is best enjoyed live, interacting with the audience's energy.

ZilpZalp was his best and favorite show in 2014, because the people were amazingly nice and friendly and that made him feel comfortable  to experiment to his heart's content. Chances are that you weren't there to witness it, but now you will have the opportunity to relive it for the first time. - C.
