DAN is a solo project by Danilo Loop Di Nicola, vocals and guitar from The Incredulous Eyes and bassist from Starslugs. From 2021, he is playing guitar and singing in a new band called Buzz Factory

Giallo Mapari is an idea, a meltin-pot of thoughts became music and a group of five people toghether only for play their own music and share it with everybody.
Matteo Grandi (voice), Paolo Guerra (rythm guitar), Riccardo Ascari (lead guitar), Matteo Luppi (drums) and Enrico Bartoli (bass) are the alliance than, since 2008, had believed in a beautiful dream. Funk Rock Band from Soliera (Modena) with the first album "Ad Occhi Aperti" available in digital format and in Compact Disc.

Majority of these songs are stories of a good friend we met as a child in sydney down near alamanda hospital, he was a chubby kid who used to dirt board down this big hill,
as he would run back up the hill his pants would always fall down and his buddies would yell out NUGGY! NUGGY!

This child grew up and became a drummer, he lives in a household with an evil mother that always brings him down.
These songs for him are like a musical autobiography written in the voice of reason and of course, the voice of his best friends.

Hi, my name is Boab Millar and welcome to my Soundcloud page.
 Writing has always came easily to me, playing guitar as long as I can remember, the only thing I can ever recall doing was thinking up songs in my head. Putting the tunes down was a whole different matter.
 
Back in the sixties the only way to get your sounds recorded was by the primitive reel to reels that were about at the time.
I must admit that the early reels were not bad but you had to have a good microphone to make them shine and of course, everything had to be recorded live. So, no lovely overdubbing and double tracking.

Come the late sixties/early seventies and a wonderful phrase came into my vocab. 'Super Imposing'
the magic process of recording yourself and then, 'Super Imposing' another instrument/voice on top.

Of course the limitations became patently obvious very early on and so it became an impossible dream to have my songs sound, “like the radio”

Fast forward to the mid noughties and the wonderful invention of Pro-tools and I was able to use my limited musical ability and my vocal strengths to put my songwriting to it's full advantage.

The greatness of the DAW and the immense latitude of outlets like Soundcloud have opened doors to musicians that I could never even have hoped for back in the dark days of record company domination.

Good luck to everyone who tries their hand at this music business. But above all, have fun trying and don't give up on your dream.
