This was my entry into the recent Blessed Madonna & Kylie Minogue 'Edge Of Saturday Night' remix contest. I took the tune & gave is retro electro feel with with a modern funky twist. I really like the remix & Kylie's vocal are amazing (as you'd expect). Needless to say I didn't win the comp & I'm fully expecting this remix to get taken down at some point so grab it for free whilst you can!

In 2015 I released ‘Old Skool Ting’ on the awesome Perth (Western Australia) based Rump Shaker Records. A great break beat label run by The Beatslappaz. I can’t quite believe it been a decade since it came out! Over the last couple of years I’ve been reconnecting with my UK rave culture roots, which lead to me putting together ‘My Rave Tape' (https://soundcloud.com/d-funk/myravetape), a mix that features my favourite & most influential tunes from my raving days in the 90s. I decided to take another look at my tune ‘Old Skool Ting’ & give it a proper re-make. Switch up the beats, adding new synths & vocal samples. It bangs & now it can be yours for free!
