DJ Smurf is the quintessential Figure and a man who wears many Hats?
    
      He is a trained Teacher who graduated from the Mico Teacher's College(now Mico University College), an ace Producer, established Promoter, Selector and Radio Disc Jock.

A graduate of the prestigious Calabar High School, He started out doing Casette clashes and deejaying professionally on a litany of Sound Systems immediately after High School.

      2005 was the year His. Disc Jock career commenced, with him landing on HOT 102, where he spent a year and a half and then moved on to IRIE FM where he is still presently employed. While at IRIE FM he was the only Disc Jock to maintained a spot on IRIE  FM's sister station ZIP 103FM where he held it down simultaneously for a couple of years.

         He has produced for various Artistes such as Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Bugle, Agent Sasco, Popcaan, Ioctane and Rygin King (just to name a few) and is the mastermind behind Hits such as "Without My Own" - Vybz Kartel, "Mi Love Mi Mate" - Lady Saw" and "She Say A Yasso Nice" - Potential Kid (just to name a few). 

      He has contributed to the careers of musical heavyweights "Konshens" and "I-Octane" and has toured with and played Tracks on tour for Beenie Man and Romain Virgo. 

        DJ Smurf has also been a Guest Judge on different entertainment Platforms such as the Boom Clash and the annual favourite "Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall".

    A multifaceted Visionary, He is also a Promoter who keeps events such as Beach Parties and Sound Clashes - that contributes to the building of the careers of many young Selectors and Sound Systems.
