Quantum Thought aka Ricky Lee Candy is a 39-year- old apper from Sacramerto,
CA, who has been writing rap since the age of 12. Before becoming a full-time
rapper Quarntum has faced a troubled past where he got ivolved with drugs, gang
activity and also served a 5-year sentence after he was charged as an adult for a
crime, at the age of 16. Even in pison, he spent most of his time writing songs.
Fast forward to 2020, Quantum has changed a lot while leaving behind his
negative lifestyle to live life as a law-abiding citizen Now he is putting all his focus on making music and establishing himself as a rapper in the industıy. Quantum calls his music "Scarred Poetry and has a website through which he
offers unique merchandise. He is a versatile rapper who likes to create music that connects with people and also does hardcore and gangster rap sometimes. Growing up, he was highly inspired by artists like The Boys, Hi-Five, Kriss Kross and Another Bad Creation, but as he got older, he started listening to 2pac, Spice 1,
E40, Rbl Posse and Master P among others. "I want to convey a message of self-realization thuough my music. You should accept yourself the way you are. He further adds, "With my dad gone and my momtying to get us back from foster care it left us displaced." Later i  joined a gang thinking that could make for the dysfinctional family I had and realized in a few short years that I was wrong".
