Music has always been one of Steve's strengths.  Playing many instruments as a youngster, starting with the piano, he quickly grew to love many different types of music.  Inspired by musicals, international artists and other local DJs from Toronto, that turning point came when he chose to dive into an industry he knew was going to take a lot of time and work to make it.

After graduating from college at Trebas Institute for Recorded Music Production,  Steve had written and produced many songs but only a few DJs would play them in clubs.   After being influenced by top DJs in both Canada and New York (US) he bought his first Pioneer CDJ-800s and DJM-400 and managed to land his first big gigs and residencies in Toronto and surrounding cities.

After just one year Steve Rapson managed to confirm a spot at one of Canada's biggest parties - Pride Toronto - on center stage!   With so many accomplishments in 2009 recognition has lately been great in Toronto with his first time at Comfort Zone (upstairs in the Silver Dollar), returning gigs to Pride events in London and Toronto.
