In 'Orange Atlas', your mind travels through the kingdom, as Constantijn melts together field-recordings with his unique sense for acoustic expression.

The uplifting 'Rote Nacht' (A1) reveals the contrasting energy between the tumultuous city and the silent mountain, before gently giving way to the feelings of the exotic seascape in 'Essaouira' (A2). Delicately, yet suprising as ever, Acid Pauli rearranges the warm drums in 'Essaouira' (B1) to let your spirit rest in an imagined, green oasis, before it’s completely taken away by the lightness of the seabirds in 'Taghazout' (B2).

We are delighted to welcome up-and-coming Hamburg-based producer, Simon Ferdinand to the Landed camp - an artist who is producing some of the finest Raw, Deep House music out there at the moment! Tipped as the rising star of 2014, we are honoured to have Simon as one of the Landed team and roster.

His new EP, Back To The Raw - as the title suggests - sees Simon delivering four original tracks of stand-out, raw vibe. Already moving dance floors across the globe and gaining support from notable DJs such as Delano Smith, Norm Talley, Gari Romalis, Alton Miller, Santonio Echols, Moomin, Bazz, Moodymanc, Varoslav & Jon Reynolds.

A1: Jack My Records - Original Mix: Simon kickstarts the EP with a jacking, dancefloor destroyer. Tough drums with a strong rolling bass-line, worked magically with smooth-moving sound design and spoken words. It's guaranteed to take the roof off, given any right moment.

A2: Tissue - Original Mix: Moving on seamlessly, Tissue takes us further adrift into our journey of the Deep via a 60s psychedelic vibe. Tightly knitted drums backed with a serious low-end bass-line create a sincere and tough vibe from the start. Add in jazzy keys and subtle drops to keep things flowing at a solid pace, and Tissue leaves you with a natural high sensation.

B1: The Ironic Truth - Original Mix: Profound and deeply emotional, The Ironic Truth is a delicious slice of warm goodness, flavoured with lush soundscapes, edgy chords and a deep grooving percussion. Enter the fathom world of the underground, which Simon seems to know quite well.

B2: Yellow Snow - Original Mix: The EP finishes with a beautiful masterpiece. On Yellow Snow, Simon really showcases his outstanding ability to captivate with quality Raw Deep House music. Combining dreamy keys and a smooth bass-line with tight grooving drums and percussion, Yellow Snow completes this stand-out EP in true underground style.

Maxim created the ICE LP within a timespan of 3 years, mostly while traveling throughout Germany by train, touring as part of the Günther Lause duo. The LP portrays the complex networks of railways and tunnel systems that permeate the earth like artificial veins. Sonically it is very much inspired by the soundscapes of urban spaces and rail stations, the pulsing motions of modern mass transportation, which he captured in various field recordings that are mixed into the dub techno influenced atmospheres. 

Vinyl will be limited to 500 copies.

Johannes Albert is a producer as diverse as they come. Comfortable across all sub genres of dance music from deep house to italo disco, in Italy they call him Giovanni Alberto. He's been praised by the likes BICEP, Gerd Janson, Lauer and the Keinemusik crew, and he's only just getting started. 

The Dancing Plague EP is summer music for summer people. Opening with the hefty, wonky basslines of the club ready; TPTS. Gravy Train is a combination of grooving bass-lines and disco drums, the end result is a solid dancefloor stomper. The uniquely titled Pachanga follows, abundant with nu disco and italo references. This is a real summer track, as the sun sets in the city ahead of a huge party, the one that will entice the shyest of dancers to move. Keeping with the off the cuff track names, the EP finishes with the dusty, sun tinged Rainbow Pan.

Over the past ten years the Needwant mantra has been to push the very best in new talent, having provided the platform for the likes of Kiwi, The Mekanism, Maxxi Soundsystem, The Revenge and many more.

Born in Hamburg and living in Berlin, Lukas Oppenheimer gives us the ‘His Dream’ EP.

We kick off with the title track, which takes matters into somewhat experimental territory, while still providing ample sustenance for a tripped-out dance - perhaps on a sunny day in Berlin, with trees swaying lazily in the background as you delve deep into all of those weird and wonderful sounds and that irresistible bass line moves your feet.

‘Where You Been’ centres its rhythm around an intricate melodic percussion motif played on tuned wood blocks. Straight kicks are at the heart of a Detroit-esque groove that sets its sights squarely on the dance floor, with floating strings and a lead line reminiscent of Underground Resistance at its best. 

The last of the originals is ‘Forever Oceanside’. With its dreamy soundscape, lush analogue chords and a shaker slowly emerging, it’s a great set opener. Opting for a breakbeat pattern on the kicks and short, crisp snares, the tracks builds with little melodies, reverbed percussions and a warm bass line, with freshsonic details providing extra entertainment.

Rounding off the EP, we have Nachtbraker (Dutch for night hawk) on remix duties, who works his trademark dubtastic magic on ‘Where You Been’.
