Curated by Lazy Susan (2StepBec, oliver.r and Zeus) the Truffle101 project sees the light of day this Spring with their inaugural release from co-founder oliver.r (@oliverrf5) under his Raynerfromfinance moniker. The first on the label explores a multitude of textures, gliding between sleek jazz, hazy dub, ethereal ambience and everything in between. Music from the soul, for the soul, as the man on the numbers, Raynerfromfinance shares his debut offering in the realms of downtempo productions. 

A loungey quest paying testament to the versatile direction of the Truffle101 label, a project from three aficionados of the slower end of the spectrum, looking to share idyllic sounds from friends and artists they meet along the way, presenting them to a new and appreciative audience.

A real pleasure to host one of my favourite djs in the Animix series, the ever-charming and immensely talented @playvlada, with her distinctly recognisable signature sound.

With a style deep, but somehow oozing with equal parts crunch and groove, Vlada is a master of blending her wide and eclectic old-school record collection into undulating journeys of bassy, hypnotic grooves, telling of her longstanding passion to the craft. 

The Russian born, but Berlin based mainstay balances touring with running mix series/party collective speLL in Berlin & beyond, with @vaahzer. One of my favourite parties in town :)

This special mix is the work of a songwriter and DJ who is just as much one, a rising figure on the French tribal deep scene Sindh, also known by his profile 9beats, made his mark on prestigious labels such as IDO and Lowless before launching his own stable to release his music. 
A brilliant composer, Louis also excels behind the decks, as evidenced by this mix, full of sweat and finesse, to be listened to at desert raves or in this new era that tastes like a revival of the famous Summer Of Love.
