When we tried to think of positive aspects the lockdowns might entail, one of the first things that made us smile from within was imagining what our friends Zozo and Emin have been up to during their isolation in Turkey. Animal whisperers, street food connoisseurs, music festival spiritual guides are just a few of the many epithets we could give these two — they never cease to surprise us. That is why we’ve asked them to give us an update of how and what they’re doing by giving us a sample from their joint record collection from their home in Istanbul.

His previous release on Mélopée with the single « Arena » was the occasion to announce Brandski’s debut album. It was also a preview of the musical themes he will develop.
The owl is really proud by the trust established with the artist. We hope to give Brandski the visibility he deserves !
The challenges Brandski sets, was to merge his broad influences from Disco, EBM and Electro in a united work. He perfectly matches theses vintage fields to more contemporary and future territories. Like an orchestra conductor, he develops melodics rises, supported by chords on top on cutted bass line.
The whole package is made to drive the listener on his journey, from calm and mental songs to brute and dancefloor patterns. To use the words of the artist : “the purpose of the album is to carry the listener, from a point to another, from introspection to self-surrender.”
We are also happy to have Austher on board, another incredible french artist ! He joins Brandski on the track « Disco Dance » and give it a melodic touch !
Austher will come back soon with some good tunes.

Una de nuestras parejas favoritas de productores Justine & Ed [Deux Control] vinieron a visitarnos al final de su tour express por Latinoamérica para compartirnos su música y para ponernos al día de lo que han hecho en estos años desde que dejaron México y regresaron a Roma. 

Hablamos del bello mundo de la pizza, del vino francés, fuimos a Maraika a pasar el día en bote y vimos ballenas mientras se ponía el sol, increíble.

Eine Mischung aus Wind der durch die Bäume pfeift, knacken und knistern im Unterholz und die Geräusche nachtaktiver Tiere. Auf deiner Zunge schmeckst du den unverfälschten Geschmack der Natur, klar und unberührt. Vergleichbar mit dem ersten Schluck frischen Quellwassers.

The idea with this mix is to sequence a tracklist which captures my own mental model of Isozaki’s building. The spiraling of the Boerdijk–Coxeter helix tower represented as the cross changing of English handbell ringing, or the mist of the rock fountain represented as the air of breath - but also to mix contemporary music with work from around the time of the building’s construction to capture the way in which architectural monuments - which always bears the historical legacy of the time in which it was designed and constructed - are continually juxtaposed with contemporary physical reality as we continue to observe, reassess and inhabit them as an objects in time.

"When I was asked to do a podcast for the Good Fruit series I was pleased to get an opportunity to share some sounds that captured my ear over the last couple of years.
