Born and raised in Atlanta, Skii isn't a stranger to the streets, and represents it in his music by only writing the truth about himself and the sometimes hard reality he came from. His musical journey started young, his family being no strangers to his music. As he found truly inspirational musicians like Young Thug and J. Cole, his own sound found itself easily developing.
