Pilot of the dreams

La nascita di un sogno.
In principio l’esperienza che coinvolge il gruppo è fondata sulla sperimentazione sonora, denominata Progetto sound.                      Durante questo periodo il lavoro si incentra principalmente su una ricerca diametralmente opposta: da una parte comprende la creazione di suoni originali lavorando su piattaforme digitali e strumenti musicali, dall’altra con l’utilizzo del détournement, cioè il riuso di materiali già esistenti come ad esempio suoni ambientali, sound tracks, oppure atmosfere sonore provenienti dall’immaginario cinematografico introdotti in un nuovo contesto musicale assumono un nuovo significato. Questa operazione permette di creare un corpus che andrà a confluire in una vera e propria sonorizzazione melodica in una veste completamente nuova. Il lavoro di creazione-ricreazione dei materiali, oggi non ha cessato di esistere perché è di vitale importanza per la strutturazione dei brani e per nuove idee.  

Perché Pilot of the dreams?
“Pilota dei sogni” il suo significato ha radici profonde che scavano nel passato. Il  nuovo progetto musicale nasce dalle ceneri del DTM Motorsport un giovane team italo-sammarinese capitanato dal pilota rally Del bianco Lorenzo e il suo collaboratore “il Gatto”(Lepri Giuliano). Questo passaggio tra mondi differenti (dalle corse alla musica) può sembrare insolito, ma in realtà mantiene intatto quel desiderio di trasmettere emozioni.

The birth of a dream.
In the beginning the experience that involves the group is based on sound experimentation, called Project sound. During this period the work focuses mainly on a diametrically opposed research: on the one hand it includes the creation of original sounds working on digital platforms and musical instruments, on the other with the use of détournement, ie the reuse of existing materials such as example environmental sounds, sound tracks, or sound atmospheres coming from the cinematographic imagery introduced in a new musical context take on a new meaning. This operation allows you to create a corpus that will merge into a real melodic soundtrack in a completely new form. The work of creation-recreation of materials, today has not ceased to exist because it is of vital importance for the structuring of songs and for new ideas.

Why Pilot of the dreams?
"Pilot of dreams" its meaning has deep roots that dig into the past. The new musical project was born from the ashes of DTM Motorsport a young Italian-San Marino team led by the rally pilot Del Bianco Lorenzo and his collaborator "Il Gatto" (Lepri Giuliano). This transition between different worlds (from racing to music) may seem unusual, but actually keeps intact that desire to convey emotions.
