Mike Slott is one of the original founding members of LuckyMe alongside Hudson Mohawke & The Blessings. He released his classic Lucky 9teen micro album over 4 years ago. With this his first release with us in sometime we are overjoyed that his reworking of Extend Ranges is as beautiful meditative vocal song by Mike himself calling out that he’s coming back to releasing music.

In contrast, Autre Ne Veut rejects his usual fare to produce an instrumental remix that cuts up several different vocal pitches and textures to recreate the originals musical passages- the result is a skewed theatrical beat sliced with glacial snares. As huge fans of his work- especially last years Anxiety LP we are proud to have him involved in this project. Last but not least – young Joseph Marinetti provides a classic house percussion workout of title track Mute City – transposing tiny digital fragments into warm Chicago keys interspersed with surging pads. Marinetti has a full LuckyMe release slated for 2014 and continues to impress with his underground releases and stellar guest mixes.

ViLLAGE has been riding a wave of hype for as long as he's been around and while it's not 100% clear to him why that happened, he finds little to no challenge in keeping his balance and constantly heading towards bigger, bolder projects almost on a daily basis. 
He's got some stuff coming out where you wouldn't even imagine and then some more + he reached that point in his career where he has to keep tabs on all the bookings, release & remix requests. He's sort of a big deal nowadays so apparently he's doing something right :)

This release is the first one not to be self-released by the Psychemagik and sees the two join Crosstown Rebels with a bang. There is mischievous synth-work, thick basslines and even larger drops.

The EP comes fully loaded with two massive remixes from Mineo and recent cover-star Tensnake. We've got the premiere of the snake's edit and the producer from Hamburg has turned in a wonderfully dark rendition of the track, a side that we rarely see from the superstar.

A wise man once told me not to worry about the records you don't sign, worry about the ones you do. So I'm not going to stress about the fact that Plastic Plates just had a hype machine no 1 record with a track we didn't sign. I'm just going to vibe how good the ones we did sign are, (and how talented this young man is).

Bob Marley said that one good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain. The a side on this ep by Plastic Plates epitomizes this. FEEL GOOD music at it's best. Put this on, take your lover, (or lovers), and go smile and dance in a field.

The b side, aptly named Sweat, is more for those late night warehouses, an appregiated journey back to the 90's where the pills had ecstasy in them and there was no such thing as 3am lockouts.

Blood Sister is back with their heady brand of blown-out rippers. Ezana Edwards, formerly of Brooklyn act Night Manager, relocated to San Francisco after the band parted ways and initially started jamming with members of Bay Area mainstays such as Ganglians, The Mallard, and Warm Soda for early Blood Sister shows.

Edwards, who handles guitar/vocals, enlisted Vanessa Robinson on bass, Syam Zapalowski on guitar/synthesizer, and K. Dylan Edrich (ex-The Mallard) on drums to complete Blood Sister’s current live band. On his new self-titled EP for Bloodmoss Records, Edwards wrote and recorded all of the songs himself using a variety of studios and techniques that were vital for its completion.

Blood Sister has and will always be as loud as possible, and the dynamic song structures, screeching guitars, and surging blasts this time around don’t just make up songs, they make up a machine. And it’s a vicious one.
