Scoring for Cainy's first 16mm short film./ 
This film is part of Cainy's Abandon Churches 教堂废墟 Project, about sublime in ruins. 

A spirit called Fatima came to me when I was scoring for this piece, during a 20+hours process in one shot. The files mysteriously went missing after I finished, so I couldn't edit or refine it. And this film is part of Cainy's Abandon Churches 教堂废墟 Project,about sublime in ruins. 
and Magic lies in glitch!
Anyways, this is a very special piece dear to my heart <3

Palace Vinyl proudly presents the fifth instalment on the label from Brain Coral Records owner, Jake Eyre aka Electrospy.

The Voice EP, Jake and Brain Coral’s only and inaugural release featured on Terry Francis’ seminal ‘Architecture’ compilation on Pagan in 1998 and reached an almost cult status in the following decades.

Electrospy makes a resurgence with a record reflecting the electro inspired tech house he became known for in the 90s whilst also offering a deep and unique take on modern underground dance music.

Jake has continued to make music in the years since Brain Coral but PT005 marks his return to vinyl format after three decades. The B2 track titled, ‘davelec’ is a recently unearthed collaborative project between Electrospy and Dave Mothersole, produced in 1996.

The Brain Coral EP functions as a tech house record tempered with electro elements and drum patterns. The record is an excursion into the space between the genres with sprightly percussion, deep and layered bass-lines and euphoric melodies. The A side presents a more tech-house and energetic affair while the B offers a distinct electro flavour.

There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together.

The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground.

This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. From solo artists to close friends, now creating something special together.

In this mix there are people I listen to, people I talk to, or people I don't know but somehow end up appearing in scenes from the same movie.
Some sense of reverence to Mother Nature too. I like to think of this mix as an auditory film that depicts a simple life. Hope you enjoy.
