We're starting another Schirmchendrink week with Nokando Sundai and his phenomenal Rum Old Fashioned. Expect a laidback groover infused with lots of funk and soul!

Zurich's Nokando Sundai is one to spread joy. Always thriving to keep the groove on the positive side and the vibe up. His sets are characterized by an infectious energy range of musical genres. The main Focus in his repertoire is on indie dance, nu disco and melodic techno. Always leaving room for good old House Music. 

He played at renowned venues in Zurich including Hive, Klaus, Friedas Büxe but also Festivals like Naturklang or Be:Rausch. He is also one of the founders of the label SOFFT.

BIO
Captain Mustache is a French music producer and DJ from Paris.

Since 2020, he made releases on some of the greatest labels of the scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and an album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with a constant support from the best DJ's in the world.

As a true electronic music lover, he worked with some electro idols (Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini, Chicks on Speed, The Advent, Keith Tucker from AUX88...) to bring an extra vocal dimension to his music.

In 2023 came the consecration with a full album called "The Super Album" on legendary label KOMPAKT Records, with the priviliege to join the short list of artists having signed a LP on this label, such as Kolsch, Gui Boratto, Agents Of Time or WhoMadeWho.

He's now acclaimed for some hit songs:
- "Everything" on Kompakt (200K plays on Spotify), supported by Pete Tong, Adriatique, Âme, Mano Le Tough, Marc Romboy...
- "La Nuit" featuring POPOF on Mobilee, played by David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Claptone, Deadmau5...
- "Bleu Cobalt" featuring JOHN DIGWEED & Nick Muir on Bedrock


Inspired by space disco pioneers, Detroit techno and electroclash, we can define his sound as romantic & burlesque.
