Our second single in support of Italian underground sensations Numa Crew’s debut album for Liondub International arrives in the form of a serious double a side that zeroes in on the crew’s strong production skills from their unstoppable full-length. featuring album lead-off track ‘Impossible’ and the dark hip-hop & dancehall hybrid ‘Control’ Featuring Robert Dallas on the mic, ‘Impossible’ starts off with his sweetly sung vox and skanking keyboards. It shifts into higher gear when the heavy dub bass and double-time drums come in and doesn’t let go as Dallas flows over diving contortions of subbass and insistent percussion. ‘Control’ features MC Kwality on the microphone, but here the beat remains in half-time hip hop style, laden with dub effects and circling synthesizers. Contrast comes from Kwality’s dancehall-style vocals flowing around the sparse drums while getting wrapped into the delay effects that run through the center of the production. Showcasing two contrasting sides of the Numa Crew on this deadly drop, Liondub is bringing International pressure on the bass scene for 2014.

Here's a sampler of TUMAN SOUND forthcoming EP on DUB'RAW. TUMAN SOUND is a tandem of two distinctive musicians from Chelyabinsk - @haji_sound and @atamanyaman934. Ataman's conscious lyrics at the junction of hip-hop and spoken word seamlessly intertwine with Haji Sound dubbed canvases filled with the sounds of living instruments and harmony. Deep and bewitching sound. This message at the junction of dub, dub techno and ambient is addressed to those who are ready to delve into the essence and are looking for their own way. "Poems of Fire" - a real instruction on maintaining fire in yourself and in others. The release will feature three versions of "Poems of Fire" - the original, as well as two special ones - the luxurious dub stepper "Dub Of Fire" and the amazingly beautiful, crumbly and transparent "Fire Of Dub". TUMAN SOUND fan the flames in the vibration of the highest standard!

♻ The title tune "Poems of Fire" will be freely distributed and will be available for free download. The tracks "Dub Of Fire" and "Fire Of Dub" will be available for download for a nominal fee via our bandcamp page. In addition, a piece of TUMAN SOUND fire can be touched live: two dub versions of the title song Dub of Fire / Fire of Dub will be released on the 7 ’’ vinyl plate. The vinyl version will be pre-ordered. The cost of one plate is 15 USD (shipping at your expense). Pre-orders can be made by mail dubrawcamp@gmail.com. Rob Smith aka RSD is a man that should need no introduction - from pioneering trip hop and the foundations of the Bristol sound in the late 80s with Smith & Mighty to writing some of the biggest dubstep tracks of all time under his RSD alias - not to mention killing it to this day with his impeccable DJ sets and fire dubplates - Rob is nothing short of a certified legend. It is a great honour to welcome the man himself to Foundation Audio with 2 classic cuts for the next in our 10” series. 
A side ‘Dr Woh’ is a heavy stepper version of the Dr Who theme tune originally written for a Redbull soundclash with subloaded in 2014 as a friendly lighthearted sound clash style dis to a certain Bristol producer whose dad played one of the doctors. Legendary dubplate business!!! 
On the flip side we have ‘Look’ a 2019 production produced in a friends studio in the Philippines. RSDs unmistakable trademark sound is stamped firmly all over this one - rolling drum breaks, big basslines and catchy synth hooks all work in perfect harmony while staying truly dubwise throughout.

Following a slew of guest appearances over the last few months, the Italian dancehall don returns for a trip back to one of the tracks from his "Badman Chronicles" mixtape album from last year. Produced by his soundsystem family Numa Crew, "When We Drop It" is already a hit on the dancefloors - fusing traditional dancehall vibes with a modern electronic twist and production.

This remix sees Kunley Da Kulprit from Jamaica's legendary Ward 21 drop a guest verse, sending the track stratospheric. With plenty more coming from the young vocalist and producer soon, keep your eyes peeled!

Manchester's Red Eye Hifi finally deliver their debut album "Overproof" and what an intoxicating brew it is. Fermented over the last couple of years, it is a reflection of the producer's international travels to Trinidad, New York and Italy during a summer of backpacking, working and DJing. Taking in soca, dancehall and club sounds from around the world, whilst also keeping true to his home city's rich musical history, drawing on house, garage, grime and hip hop, the album is a potent journey through the murky backwaters of Manchester's music scene.

Guests vocalists come thick and fast, providing the perfect tonic for the inebriating potation of production, such as Red Eye's mentor and long time collaborator MC Fox, who brings his unmistakable flow and omnipresent class to the record, underpinning the album throughout like a heavy rum in the punch bowl. On club smasher "Charge Up" he is joined by Berry Blacc whose versatile & skillful lyrism can also be heard on album opener "Serious". The dancehall and bashment inspirations bubble up on the massive "Kung Fu" featuring BBC's UK Rap Game finalist Lady Ice and "Balance It" with Italian/Puerto Rican don XL Mad, both of whom bring the heat to their respective contributions, swilling down current UK club sounds with dashes of Afrobeats & Baile funk. "Weak Bones", featuring Manny royalty and member of rowdy party starters LEVELZ, Chunky drives this point home even more, delivering a killer vocal atop a grime and kuduro style riddim whilst giving some nutritional advice to weak MCs - served up in his own inimitable style.

Taking things down a notch, Chunks also appears on the more reflective "I'm Good" alongside Berry Blacc once more, whilst Manc Godfather DRS goes deep on the brooding "Demons", showing that this is not only an album for the dancefloor, but also delves deeper with some real head nodders. With a couple of instrumental numbers thrown into the pot, the album is finished by another speaker buster "All In" with Fox and the more chilled "Storm" featuring a combination with the fresh prince of Hulme (and previous collaborator on the huge "Badmind Behaviour") Kiva.

After 8 years in the game, from club night and promoter to soundsystem, DJ and producer, this is an album of collaboration and combination; a heady cocktail exploring the different corners of the rainy city whilst reaching out around the world and reflecting Red Eye Hifi's ever moving and changing place in the city. Like the much loved Northern powerhouse, synonymous with music and all night revelry - the album tries to capture the essence of a typical night out and bottle it for your enjoyment. Just try to consume it responsibly!
